Title: Argh
Post by: Julian on September 18, 2009, 11:11:02 pm
This is driving me fucking nuts. The damn textures doesn't load sometimes.
Yes, I have mods, but it has never been a problem before.

Any help? Is there like, any mod which makes the textures load faster or something?

The mods weight too much. The bigger the txt, the more lag.

And what can I do about it? I've had most of the mods for a pretty long time, and now the last week this problem shows up.

try re-installing GTA:SA and copying the GTA3.img or any other you have modded without copying any file like handling.cfg (even edditing this, can get you punishment... > meaning the Handling file.)

Esc, Display, Advanced, set your something to very high and draw distance either down or up. You know, if you didn't do that already lol.

I don't really understand what you mean. I can't re-install GTA, since the thing you put the CD in is f**ked up. I got the original GTA3.img too of course.

Tried it, it's different from time to time. Once it loaded faster when I had high draw distance, but then earlier today it was slow again, and I put it on lower and it was better, lol.

Than keep it that way, not that much difference, except in realism.
