For some reason bikes were removed, and i find it silly because Gandalf told me they removed them because of complaints. So, I wanna know what were those complaints (From the people who complianed). And also vote yes or no if you want the bikes back or not. ( Hope this won't get locked )

Agreed, But Gandalf and the dev's have experimented this matter to see if it will cause less crash but no response, same old thing, so hopefully in Samp 0.3 they will be back.

I vote yes. Actually I cant see any reason why they were removed. I would love to hear some reasons though. If you want to remove transports/vehicles why dont you remove vehicles like Mule or something. I just dont see the point sorry...

Big FAT YES!! I realy want the bikes back, but the cops keep complain about - i dont wanna chase suspects on bikes cause its hard, i dont have balls to get on a bike myself.. there is POLICE BIKES witch you can use to chase suspects on BIKES, pretty simple, you just gotta THINK before complaining :) Police bikes is there for a reason cops!

When 0.3 comes out yes which imo is when they're going to come back. And 0.3 is around the corner

Bikes really sucked. I mean in one moment players complain there is no roleplay and on the other moment they are complaining there is a lack of a totally NON-ROLEPLAY vehicle on the server... I cannot understand.

AFAIK bikes were removed because criminals abused them - even a DIRECT hit (lag-ramming neither) does not knock off the biker off the bike. Not to mention the fact, that bikes don't take damage from falling, and very often take no damage from collisions (GTASA and it's z0mg suspension).
Maybe they could return if it's possible to reduce the "Bike skill" level to 0, so it's easier to fall.

I always fall when i get rammed by cops, i've got some problems then. Also how is bikes not rp, there is nothing like '' NON RP VEHICLE '' anyway. Don't blame the bikes if you can't catch criminals with your own police bikes. ( They don't have much speed difference )

When the bikes were getting removed, everybody said it was due to crashes and nobody ever said otherwise. This is really confusing to me. The bikes should come back. Like Truth said, when I get hit by a car while I'm riding a bike and I turn more than 45 degrees, I usually fall off.
And if they do come back, the people who owned the bikes before they were removed should get the ownership again. I wouldn't want a Sanchez back though :lol:

Freeways arent too fast for cop cars.
They were heavily used for RP as biker
gangs. Sanchez's = The bike I want
on my farm, and to use as a RP

I never used bikes, or do i have any need for them. Yet again i undestand the frustration and have sympathy, for people like Truth, Shitix, etc, who's whole RP group need it to get closed, cause of it. Its fucked up when you remove people way of Rping, and if there isnt a BIG REASON, exept cop moaning and complaining, they shoud bring them back.
You cant catch a suspect on bike? You got Hydra/Hunter, now thats a big diference, isnt it ?

I love jumping from rooftop to rooftop on mountain bikes, but we do not need them back. They will just be abused by suspects.

Just because players are good with a vehicle in a video game, they get removed? I find that funny, I mean yes I used bikes a lot when suspect, but I was knocked off MANY times and killed because being knocked off. Its not that hard to knock people off and it didn't seem people were THAT pissed about criminals using them.

Many complaints about bike abuse were sent to the developers... if you want to know the full reason behind the removal of bikes down to the smallest detail, feel free to ask them.

Bring 'em back. I don't understand why cops would moan, they already got big advantage. Hydra's, Hunter's, they can return how many fucking times they want to. I once had a cop coming back about 6-7 times at me. And cops got police BIKES TOO, use them then if it's so hard to catch up with a suspect on a bike.

Bikes cannot be abused(used incorrectly). Neither can they be unfairly used, not unfair to the police as the one with bikes can be: Rammed by the police vehicle so they fall off, that's 1-0 to the police. Not every bike is fast, let's give a point each. 2-1 to the police. Police has stronger and more vehicles. 3-1. Bikes can be used in tight areas, so in real life. But let's give a point to the bikers. 3-2...et cetera. You know what I'm saying.
So, no. They can't be unfairly or incorrectly used in any kind of form.
It's about skills.
They are removed due to test and to reduce crashes and so on?
Well then add them back already? They are needed.
Now I can't cruise around listening to music in peace. Cars are so easy destroyed. With bikes, at least the damages aren't visible, and you can avoid collisions more easier.

Makes me laugh how lazy cops are.. they got hydra and hunter to chase down suspects with that only refused to pay a ticket but when the criminals use a bike to escape, like i did cause i where RPing Biker, i got shitloads of moan from cops like '' dont use bikes, its agains rules and is no rp vehicle at all! '' What the fuck? Police have their own bikes to chase down bike suspects! Why not use them? because they cant handle a bike like i can( i can drive same bike for hours :P ), they give up on trying a bike after 1 minute..
Why dont we remove police cars and ruin the police RP ? same happend to the biker gang Odifus/Jim Nail had..

They got removed for because ARAGORN wanted them gone BEFORE RS4 and I had forgotton, and I got YELLED at for this so had a choice, listen to owner who PAYS for this server or not.
They got removed at this time as we NEEDED to cut the number of vehicles down and the number of bikes was rather conveniantly CLOSE to the number we had to cut..

Its is clear that you DID NOT READ the topic about the removal and are blaming the WRONG people, and yes I am rather annopyed as I am affect on BOTH counts, your ability to fail to read and your blaming the police force I and others try to run!
SAMP 0.3 has potential but motorbikes will NOT be in the intial version.. We have a very very big reason but that would be giving away what else is being worked on..

Due to the skill level motor bikes are hard to catch.
To this added is that the desync on 0.2x is very bad. which makes the bike and a suspect on it seem to be in a different place to the cop as to the suspect himself.
Bikes have been often used not just as a way to get away, but to irritate the cops and speed off when approached.
If they will return in 0.3 or not depends mainly on how the desync and driving skills will be handled. When possible, we will first return the 'slow' ones that are easy to catch, and only afterwards the fast.
However as said return depends on the experience we will get.
