Title: Problem with my external harddrive (Can't put .img's and .iso's there.)
Post by: Knoothead on September 23, 2009, 09:30:16 pm: When I bought a new external hard-drive wron Western Digital 1TB something, I will get the correct model later if required.

The problem is that I can't put .iso's and .img's there (I think same for all "virtual cd's" or whatever they're called.)

It says that the harddrive is full, but i still got 740 GB's left..

Anyone else with this problem that could help me?

Check if it is turned on.
If yes, turn it off.
Quota prevents hard disk capacity to change, so you cannot add files.

Is that in Windows XP? Because I can't find it..

Yes, in XP.
I tried and had Clooak to do remote control, and no, that tab looks differently on my Computer. I can find Quota on my Local Harddrive, but not on the external one.

I've tried to update drivers, but nothing found it says............

No I haven't as it's basically not my external harddrive, it's my daddys.
I will try to find those though.

Solved.

The reason was that it was running on FAT32 and needed to be converted to NTFS..
