Well, This problems started a few days ago, And it links with my internet signal, Whenever this happens, I'm NOT Downloading/Uploading ANYTHING, It just happens randomly, I then unplugg my wireless router, Then plug it back in, And it fixes, then later again it happens, I need some help, Thanks, I got some pics here of my internet info etc
(http://i1013.photobucket.com/albums/af258/Polarr/Speedproblem.jpg)
Its like nothing to do with my actual computer, Its my internet.. :S Its only started doing that, So I dont know if Virgin Media (The internet supplier I use) has problems etc..
Ok the problem above is kind of fixed, BUT I know EXACTLY what the problem is, And I still can't get a solution for it from myself, Anyway, The wireless router I have, Is broken or over heated or something, Because I've just switched backed to my normal internet modem, And now the speeds fine, I just want to know, How do I fix my router, Do I just leave it turned off for a while?

Something is blocking your downloadings.

I've fixed the blocking problem, And I know exactly what the speed problem is. Its my router, I've just switched back to wired internet, So im not using router anymore, And my speeds perfect now, I just need to know, Whats wrong with my router, And how can I fix it?
(Wireless router)
Ok, Please view the topic again and view under the grey line, I just need to know that question
-
Contact your ISP and provide them with details of your problem.
-
Okay, I've just switched back to my modem for now, I've just gave my wireless router few hours rest, The speed did go up when I checked it, but not a lot, Ping is about like 200, Before it was about 999 and 5000+. So I guess giving it a breather did work, I think i'll leave it off for a while longer

Hmm, our wireless router is 24/7 turned on and no problems has happened, internet speed is fine.

is your Firmware for your router up to date? Manually check it. I use a Linksys Wireless N and i tried the built in feature...was pointless. I had to take and do it manually anyway. Also...no need to contact your ISP if your fine w/o the wireless router. But yea...make sure your Firmware is fine. That can really screw you over. Due to the fact that it can get very screwy and many bad things happen IE: Internet Speeds screw up, DL/Upload speed become extremely low, Wifi will stop broadcasting so all wireless pc's cannot connect to the router. etc. List goes on. SO Check j00 Firmware and good luck :).

This might sound stupid, But how do I check? D:
(I've never had a Wireless router before).
