Title: Xbox 360 controller for PC... interesting for me?
Post by: polopolo on October 05, 2009, 07:39:02 pm
Hello everyone!

Since some time ago, there are some times that a PC game is being a ass as it comes with keyboards, so sometimes, a controller might be usefull...

Now I am wondering, did some people tried it out, and if yes... for what kind of games should it be usefull?

WHERE I can get a PS2 emulator? I want to play good old PS2 classics, but I cant since my PS2 is broken and I wont repair/buy new one because its so "old". :D

I wanna know the same thing.
Would be sweet to play TimeSplitters. My PS2 still works perfectly even I got it when it was released, though :D

Try the 'PCSX2' emulator. Works fine for me. remember you'll need a good PC to emulate them tough.

I have a 360 controler on my pc, it's fun.
Some times play FIFA (and other games)  with it, and you can play with a friend then. It's worth the money :)

I never intended to buy Xbox joystick because it would be a waste

Here is what I did

I bought a simple logitech joystick with two sticks btw

I took dll files from Xbox 360 joystick and putted them in logitech one and then I went to registry added dll files to Win32 folder and in registry typed insted of Logitech I typed Xbox 360 Controler

and It worked I mapped my controls as it suits me and that was it  :D and it only costed me 15 bucks

Good for you, but X controller is more trusteble, because Xbox is designed by Microsoft Computers

I used a controller very "similar" to the xbox one. its logitech chillstreaaaaaam (only one a, i added more for dramatic effect  :D) nyway, it costed bout 30 (+ or -) euro. Since its the economical crisis, it might be cheaper now, i dont know, look it up, i can send you a pic if you want

yea its pretty good, one thing i dont like are the sticks, they are a bit too stiff, if you know what i say. It has a fan inside so if you play in summer and/or sweat alot you find it useful for your gaming experience. so let me translate this for you:
price: 27.96 euro without tax, with tax 33.27
sticks are pretty good, but too stiff for me as i already said because im a ps3 owner. but if you like xbox controller so i guess it will be good for you.
