Hmm seems that i need a dual core CPU?
-
Yea, youre gonna need a new CPUI, preferable a Core 2 Duo or Core 2 Quad ;)
if youre on a limited budget i suggest you try get the E8400 Core 2 Duo 3Ghz , its got loads of power, and for a good price..
your graphics card is also kinda out of date, you are going to need a new one.
If you are planning on getting a new graphics card, get one which is atleast a 512Mb to have good game play ;) look at a card like a XFX Nvidia 9600GT 512mb.. theyre also a decent price for a powerfull card ;)
also the RAM, i suggest you get more ram since the speed of your ram will be low due to it being old technology which the test doesnt look at, its just checking the amount of RAM you have..
-
Not gonna work with that GPU, I suggest you to get new CPU, More RAM (3GB preferable) and a new GPU.
-
Funny that every test i run for every game on ´http://cyri.systemrequirementslab.com/srtest/ My gpu has all the right pixel shader versions and everything but it never passes :D Maybe its just too old..
And why cant i run Resident evil 5?? Ive completed Re4 7 times and i want to play Re5

Hmm oh yeah :D My good friend has that card.. I can go to his house and KO him and steal it :D

RE 5 has really good graphics...

As you can see minimum system requirement of GPU is Geforce 6800, you have Geforce 6200... :)
-
Yeah of course ive noticed that.. lol but whats the difference
-
I won't suggest you to download GTA IV or buy it
because it will lag and have bugs even if you have L33t tek PC
I play on medium and 1024x768 and it really lagged but there is a patch that has 24KB but fixes those problems

sorry but are you on crack?? It will only lag if you are trying to push too much power outa a shit PC, ive been running it on High Graphics and no lag what so ever... with a resolution of 1440x900...
if you are lagging on 1024x768 at medium graphics, your graphics card is shit and CPU my friend ;)

Find where did I told that I'm lagging!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First read the whole post
Its called Bug and glitch and it doesn't care if you have Alienware :trust:

BUT that is the past form which means I lagged BEFORE and then used patch and now I'm not lagging for long time now
you misunderstood it !!!What I was trying to prove is that GTAIV sucks because of glitches and bugs and it fails on most PC's ;)
-
and im saying after i used the patch i saw no difference on my game.. i never had issues with it at all...

I am I and you are you
my PC is different then yours till every little cabble it could be different

Actually, it lags on almost any PC, who isn't up to date with the maximum recommendations.

False.
-
False.
Prove otherwise then we can talk
-
well, as i said, it doesnt lag on my system, my system is around the mid range, i run graphics on High with a high res etc..
My Specs are:
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3Ghz
2Gb DDR2-800
XFX Nvidia 9600GT XT 512Mb GDDR3 ( occasionally run SLI with my other card, not running it right now due to cooling issues )
My old specs before i upgraded a bit, also had no issues with lag on Medium/high graphics with the same res..
Those specs are:
Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 2.6Ghz
2Gb DDR2-800
Nvidia 8600GT 512Mb GDDR2
-
I have a 9800GTX+ OC, which is much better than a 9600GT or a 8600GT for that matter.
I cannot seem to play GTA IV without lag even on some of the lowest settings, but I think it's my GTA IV copy.. :/
Whenever I set my graphics settings, they don't save when I turn on the game again.
Never was/has been like that on my GTX 295. D:

Voodoo said PC's in generally which is more important then your PC
Nevermind if it runs smooth on your PC but what do you recommend to the rest lets say 2 million buyers who probably have a missing ground bug or something

ye you may have a more powerfull card, but the fact is your other specs, like Ram, CPU and all those other components which matter..
If youre lagging on the lowest settings its one of your other components which are either incompatable or fucked..

Madboi face it GTA IV sucks and it was released before it was actually "made"
-
Guys btw can i use normal DDR RAM even though currently my RAM is DDR2?
edit: Oh yeah forgot the pin amount differencies

As I stated before I wouldn't recommend you to get GTA IV
its expensive and I mean expensive for what you actually get and its bug....lag....glitch
-
i didnt ask about the RAM cause of GTA IV. would be quite stupid just to create a new topic for that

lol? i was gonna say youre not asking about GTA, but about RAM

I don't really lag that much. Weirdly, it's like this.
When I play on highest settings - the game looks shit, I mean extremely shit and I get like 20FPS.
When I play on lowest settings - the game looks like how it should do at highest settings and I get like 40FPS.
On the PC I mentioned, these are the specifications:
-Quad Core Q9(something) - I think clocked at 3.2GHz.
-6GB Corsair DDR2 RAM.
-
naw man, there has to be something incompatable with your hardware setup there man.. it shouldnt be shit on higher graphics...
and thats a overshoot and a half..
Quad core and 6Gb ram.. jeez..
i clocked my E8400 which is stock 3Ghz to a 4.2Ghz.. it barely increases the power.. i may have had a faster FPS and all that but nothing special with overclocking... it just wastes the life of your parts.
