I haven't had this problem since the last couple of versions of SA:MP, but as soon as I updated to SA:MP 0.3, I need to re-install everytime it to play it after I've quited it.
The client refuses to open and only opens after re-installing, which is a pain in the butt to do everytime.
Like I said I haven't had this problem since the last to last version of SA:MP, not the one before 0.3, but the one before that one.
I am running Vista, I have tryed installing it as a Administrator, I've tryed running the client as a Administrator, and I've tryed running it in compatibility mode, but it does not work.
Any clues guys?

I had this problem with MTA:VC and MTA:SA too.
Indeed, it's akward...
I dont have any ideas, since I werent active on any of them, so it was okay for me.
Good luck solving this, Fabio.

Well, for me using the Compatibility Mode only kept crashing my game on Windows 7.

Any solutions guys?

Make sure the game isn't corrupt, or make sure nothing is blocking it's ability to open.

It might be that the sa-mp process ( or gta_sa process) is already open.
Go to task manager (ctrl alt del) and look under processes... if it is just end it and see if sa-mp/gta will start then.

Its not that, the actuall SA:MP client just dosen't want to open unless I reinstall it.

When that happened for me, it was indeed still running as a process so I just did what Yinka did and it fixed it.

There is a 90% chance that this will work. I had to do it before, I had the same problem, but my GTA was corrupt and I had to change the compatibility.

Yes but I didn't happen to work it out by Win98 because of extra samp opening then flooding my desktop
I did Win 2000 both of them

None of the compatibility works guys, I tryed out what you suggested, I also tryed running as Administrator.
I also tryed re-installing GTA San Andreas, but it did not work. :(

Do you possibly have something blocking SA:MP from opening? If so I might know the problem.
-
By constantly re-installing SA-MP you are cluttering your registry files. Eventually you will run into a much bigger problem than your current one.
Try downloading Revo Uninstaller (http://www.revouninstaller.com/), and uninstalling GTA-SA and SA-MP. Revo Uninstaller will clear your registry files that are related to GTA-SA/SA-MP, maybe one of the registry entries has been corrupted.

For some odd reason I cannot find SA:MP on the installed list.
Also for some reason, I can never uninstall the GTA games using Control Pannel, I always have to insert the CD's again and reverse the installation by uninstalling.

Now that same problem is happening with that program you showed me. :(
