Alright, so I've been trying to take videos of stunts I've been doing in San Andreas single player, and have only tried one cam so far - Hypercam. When I try to use it, the game basically freezes so bad that I have to stop the camera, then when I check what was recorded, it's just a still shot lasting the time I waited before turning it off.
I've used Fraps before back on Vice City to take clips, but I don't have the money to pay for the full version, and thirty second clips don't always capture what I need.
Point is that there's another problem as well. I've been using Windows Movie Maker, for it's simplicity and usefulness, but unfortunately it's glitched to where at some point it will always shut-off, erasing any progress I made on the video.
What I was wondering is what you guys would suggest, both for taking the in game clips, and for editing them into a video afterwards?

I use fraps full and windows movie maker.. Anyway maybe you can use camtasia studio for screen recording. And about the glitch in windows movie maker, try to download the newest version? :conf:

In there lies the problem. You see, due to several glitches in regards to my computer itself, I can't receive the service package update via Automatic Updates, or the website itself. I only have Windows Movie Maker because someone placed their version in a .rar file and sent it to me via MSN.
If you know of any way I can get the latest version, I'd be much obliged.

I guess thats the problem.. You didnt install it and you should.(And if you did, then you got an old version or a hacked windows..)
There are other sites too, try searching for windows movie maker 2 download and maybe you will find it. If you dont find it, ask someone to download the install for you and give it to you in a .rar file ;)
And then hope the glitch is away! I hope this helped
