Hmm, tough one.
Tried to re-install your GTA in a different directory than the original?
-
Maybe your whole game is bugged?

ive used this GTA for a long time. The problem occured when i reinstalled windows - i reinstalled the same windows i had before, which didnt cause any problems.
-
Hmm.. Try to replace your GTASA.exe with a NO-CD one? Might work also.

did that several times.
-
Is your .exe in compatibility mode? If not, try setting it for the OS you have or Vista.
And if it is in compatibility mode, try setting it off.
-
i think i solved the problem , all i needed was the directX
Please do not lock this as i am not sure if the problem is 100% gone.
Kaput, its back again.
-
Tried making another windows user to play on?
-
C:\Users\<youruser>\Document\GTA San Andreas User Files
Copy those files to desktop incase of loss, after that delete the above by me appointed directory
This should fix it,
also reinstall SA and delete the San andreas map if it doesn't work at once
-
Problem solved, thank you for your help people ;)
Lock please.
-
You want to tell us what was the solution?

well the solution for my case was simple. After installing gta sa , just go ingame and save the game, it worked for me .
Funny yet retarded, its back
Update: reinstalled windows, and it looks like its gone.
