I've been having major time out problems when joining the SA:MP Server (Happens on other servers too), I join and around 5mins later I time out and reconnect. When am browsing around the net viewing the forum etc it's fine never displays any "could not connect to remote server" messages or crap like that. So I checked out the SA:MP forum and found some guy had the same thing.. he connected straight to his Modem and what do you know.. it worked. I bought myself a new router as I thought it was my old one that was busted.
Does or did anyone have a similar problem and can they explain how they fixed it. I'll try connecting straight to my Modem after work but if you guys have any other ways it'd be appreciated.

1. They and alone... Does not make any sense.
2. He said he's internet isn't crashing, just SAMP.
3. Changing IP does not help if game crashes after 5 minutes..

I think I might know problem... ever since i uninstalled GTASA (I used the SA Disk!) and I had to download a SA Game Copy due to the disk not working. Think this could be related? Going to buy another copy of the Game whenever I can.

Umm.. That means that there is SA n your register, tried to install it to a different folder?
Like, it usually installs to C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto San Andreas
Try install it to C:\Program Files\Grand Theft Auto San Andreas without the Rock Stars folder being in it.. And then, of course re-install SAMP to same folder where you install GTA SA.

Never had such problem, and I'm playing without a CD.
