Title: What...? Windows boots, BIOS does not recognize Master HDD?
Post by: Grovyle on November 22, 2009, 12:03:41 am
Even though this issue is NOT giving me ANY problems, I would appreciate an answer...

My PC a month ago got this really freakin powerful virus that wiped out my Master HDD, got it formatted and Windows 7 installed; when it got installed, some seconds I start up my PC it says something like this:

T.M.E (I'm not sure if it's this) Master HDD not detected!
Press F1 to continue.

I press F1 and Windows boots up.
I checked the BIOS, everything was just fine! What's this? o_o

If your HD uses ATA connection (not SATA), then ensure your jumper is on. If you have SATA, make sure your SATA cable is on the HD and motherboard firmly. If it is, then try replacing the SATA cable, as it could be a bad cable.
