Rules:
Max. 2 (two) pictures per participant
Your photo must be unique - no ripping off!
Photos should be in resolution of 1024x768 or 1280x1024 pixels
Photos should be in as highest quality as possible
Use the Argonath Gallery (http://www.argonathrpg.com/forum/index.php?action=gallery) to post your photos
Photos MUST have HUD/radar/chatbox hidden
Picture must be taken in Argonath RPG server (MTA:VC or SA:MP)
I judge the pictures, however i wont ignore others' ratings of pictures.
Dates:
Final application posting date: 12.07.2007
Final photograph posting date: 26.07.2007

Best scenic view
Best frozen time
Best people photo
Best photoshopped
Best humour photo
Prizes:
Prizes are given for each category separately.
1st prize: $10'000
2nd prize: $6'000
3rd prize: $4'000
Prizes for SA:MP players will be given after 2.0 scripts are out.

I got an question:
Photos should be in resolution of 1024x768 or 1280x1024 pixels
I play on 640*.... resolution, can i still particiate? couse i got a good sunset scene photo when i was waiting (stupid) for Decy :O

doh.. ok.. i guess if people play on low-res, i will put off the resolution rule.. but HUD should be off.

About editing:
Enhancing graphics (smoothing out, fixing gamma/brightness/contrast) - allowed.
Adding effects (blurs, merging pictures) - qualifies for best photoshop (but you can use other programs too, lol)

About editing:

I would have thought cutting out some text or summit would be acceptable... as you know some of the best photographs may have ben taken in the spur of the moment.

I know it is a stupid question but how do you put the radar out of the picture ?
Is it bad if the radar is in the pic ?

I think when you press F10, it temporarily (spelling?) hides your HUD (radar, healthbar, money, etc)
If not F10, then some other F__ button

The picture wont be DQ, but it will loose points if the HUD is on (if its too late, you can cut out the picture so i wont see the HUD - and i wont do it for you, its your pic ;))
