Here's a short overview from Wikipedia:

Inglourious Basterds is a 2009 war film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino and released in August 2009 by The Weinstein Company and Universal Pictures. It was filmed in several locations, among them Germany and France,[4] beginning in October 2008.[5] The film, set in German-occupied France, tells the story of two plots to assassinate the Nazi political leadership, one planned by a young French Jewish cinema proprietress, the other by a team of American soldiers called the "Basterds".
This movie is basically an alternate view on WW2, with ficticious dates and ficticious events. The background to the story is a young Jewish girl running from her hiding place in Nazi-Occupied France after having her family killed by Nazis. In the next scene we get introduced to the Basterds - the badass nazi-hating american-jews who are airdropped into France and kill shit loads of nazis and cut their scalps off. The movie revolves around the girl and the Basterds. I'm not going to reveal any more then that, because it'll spoil everything. I watched this movie twice in two days it's so good. Apart from the fact that it can be a bit confusing at times, it's a really good movie and I would reccomend it to anyone with a taste for action and adventure. It gets a solid 9/10 for me. Also, the audio is a bit quiet at times, so watch out for that! Note that this movie has lots of close-ups of people being cut up into pieces and shot a million times. Don't watch it if you're underage or sensitive to heavy violence.

The Hangover (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1119646/)

The plot follows four friends who travel to Las Vegas for a bachelor party, only to wake up the next morning not remembering a thing and missing the groom, whose wedding is scheduled to occur the next day. Although the film was inspired by the filmmakers' real life misadventures, it seems to pay a homage to The Three Stooges screwball comedy short films. The film was released in North America on June 5, 2009, to critical praise and box office success.
This movie is hilarious. It really is. It's not overly funny the entire time, but there's some parts where it's so funny I couldn't focus on the movie due to my laughter. The movie's about a group of 4 guys who go out to Vegas to celebrate one of them getting married. We see them on a rooftop drinking some alcohol before they leave on their adventure, and the next thing we see is them in their room, which is completely messed up. They don't remember anything from the night before, so they go on an adventure to find out what happened to them the night before. Oh, and did I mention the guy who's supposed to be getting married in a day is missing? The movie revolves around trying to find this friend. I'd reccomend it, as it's really funny and has a good plot. 9/10 from me.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0417741/)

Here's a short overview from Wikipedia:

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, released on 16 July 2005, is the sixth of seven novels from British author J. K. Rowling's popular Harry Potter series. Set during Harry Potter's sixth year at Hogwarts, the novel explores Lord Voldemort's past, and Harry's preparations for the final battle amidst emerging romantic relationships and the emotional confusions and conflict resolutions characteristic of mid-adolescence.
Meh, it's a Harry Potter movie. It's pretty old too, so I doubt not many of you have seen it. This is a pretty action packed movie with stunning graphics and special effects. I'm sure by now you all know about Harry Potter, if not, it's a boy who's parents were murdered by a dark wizard when he was a baby. He then gets introduced to a wizard world and embarks on an epic adventure to destroy the one who destroyed his life, and he has his two best friends to help him along the way. This movie is the next part to the others, and it's hard to explain it without giving it away, so I'll just say that it's a decent movie. 7/10, you should try and see it but it's not overly amazing.

I'm about to watch the movie Step Brothers, so I'll update this post with my review of that once i'm done.
