Title: Profit
Post by: [NP]Monte Montague on December 24, 2009, 05:06:02 pm
Hi

If you already didn't know...

The NinjaPie (Clan) purchased a donut shop in Fort Carson.
It cost us 600k to restock. (last profit was 1.2m estimated)

At $173 a entry fee... will we make any money?

And how many people will it take ?

Of-course, the money is not as much of a priority then the RP, which we do occasionally , but money is needed for other stuff - including rp.

It will take you 3469 people to make minimum profit, after receiving the 600k you spent.

Ty, but is 1k of stock enough? People sometimes use like 9 foods for full health ...

How did you calculate this? I was confused with stock, entry fee etc etc...

(( Nice to see your not on the naughty list anymore))

Hmm, in my opinion you will, or already made a mistake after restocking it. But I hope it will earn for you... Good luck!

Well, you may have misread what I posted, after re-reading, It was kind of hard to understand.

Let's just say you have 1 mill just for explaining's sake.  You spent 600k of your 1 mill restocking.  To get that 600k back AND get a profit, you need 3469 people to enter your shop.

Ok

I have officially started to lose money over this business.

What figure should I make my entry fee that would not bee to high but will ensure i at least recover most of the money i make?

I don't understand the question..
You physically can't lose money from a business entry fee, it just isn't possible.

If I put the entry fee as $1, I would make a profit.

He restocked paying 600k. So right now he's - 600k on the profit.

restocking is HALF of you profit of your business so keep that in mind when picking a fee 100$ will do good cause then when restocking 50$ per 1 stock

restocking would cost 49,950 with a entrance fee of $100

without restocking you would have a profit of 99,900

so all together when you have your money the 99,900 and then restock your total profit will be $49.95 it not much but yea

Ah, now I see what he meant.
I meant from 1000 stock, but he purchased it at 0 and had to restock from nothing.
Never mind me. :)

Well

If it costed you 600k for 1000 stockings.

That means if you set it to 1000$ you would make 1000k in the end.

600$ x 1000 = 600k

If you wish to make profit you need to set anything above 600$, but the customers you get will drastically lower and it will take you months maybe even a year to retrieve your money with it...?

Its actually gotta be $1200 just to break even once you've restocked a second time.

i put 300$ on my bizzness, and my restock cost less than half of my profit. So i guess we can make profit from bizz, people merchanting just to get money fast, which is not fun i guess -.-

Idk, members from [BRC] helps the clan by giving the money,

For example,

[BRC]Lewis[WG] gave 20,000$ yesterday,
[BRC]******* gave 2,000$ one week ago

Etc.

You will get the money from the shop you have.
