Title: Possible trojan/malware on my computer and no firewall.
Post by: Matthew_Cipricla on December 27, 2009, 02:12:29 am
Alright so recently ive been having these annying pop-ups of windows firewall/security center that says there is some virus or trojan trying to get on my computer and blah blah, but I cant turn on my firewall. Everytime I click on "turn on firewall" noting happens. Here is a photo of what Im talking about on the pop-up.

You have alot of Spyware and Adware on your system. Somehow I think you may even have some fake security software. Get Avast from above, register it, install it, right click on the program's system tray icon, run it, and input the key that was emailed to you upon registration when it asks, and go also get Windows Defender. Your system is really messed up...

I think that alert may be fake as well. Windows Firewall is not in any way able to detect malware like that. Your system tray is also showing multiple fake icons to Security Alerts.

Ive already fized it, Malware Defender is a prograsm that tries to make you buy a useless anti-malware program to make money, and they do this by scaring you with fake trojan pop ups. I downloaded somethings and got it cleared up. BTW avast sucks balls because its only trial..... requesting topic locked.
