Well suddenly i started to have these weird trails after all text on my screen and my monitor kind of went abit blurry and stuff. And no i wasnt doing anything special. I just had my desktop on cause i was thinking what should i do. So i tried fixing this by pulling the plug out of my monitor and putting it back in. That didnt work yet so after that i rebooted my computer. That worked.... And all this happened yesterday. And right now today im having the same problem. except that this time my monitor turned pink for a minute or so.... Oh and yeah... (Im not embarrased to say that im using a 17" Compaq V70 CRT... :redface:
Offtopic: Geez im getting all my post counts for having such a crap computer and im not even trying :neutral:

Fucking shit! It always happens when i boot my computah... ive tried pulling out my monitor plug and turning it off and on and shit... but the only solution seems to be to restart my computer.. so everytime i turn off my computer the next time i want to go on i have to start it 2 times :neutral:

What resolution you use ?
Try to lower your resolution a little !

If I understood right, the problem is not your monitor, but the video card.. It's taking it's last breaths before braking..

Well imo i think it might be my monitor cause if i take a screenshot the problem doesnt show on it. Cause screenshots are taken before it reaches the monitor

Dunno if you can see it from there really. But anyway nothing happens when playing or using a full screen application.. so :lame:
ANOTHER EDIT: OH WTH! Now the problem is gone from the screenshot! i guess it IS my monitor? lol.
Anyway im gonna buy a Geforce GT 220 512mb version.. pretty old maybe but i dont have much money for a newer one

When it shows sometimes, and sometimes not, isn't it kind obvious it is your video card???
