Idea is basically about having a game text based speedometer.
set 14 <playerid> (set text bottom for player)
I don't know what the output would be with the script constantly updating the text, but I don't think it will be messy considering I had no problems while flooding the command myself to test.
Output should be something like this:

Does it spam the "I don't know that command" all the time you use it? (Saw it in the pic)
If it does, then this sucks, if not, it's good idea :)

The amount of players online could however change the outcome?
-
What concerns me is the text overwriting itself and maybe getting messed up and unreadable.
And at Kessu's question, the answer is no. That'll be sent by script, not me, and I was trying other commands too, reason for the messages.
-
Considered this before and it's possible to do, text can be moved to the bottom of the screen with the vcmp.announce function anyway by inserting a special character into the script. I still have the old game text speedo I was going to add in I'll consider adding it back in.
-
It will include a timer on every player, that will read the player's speed after each time interval.
It can lag the scripts with an increased player amount.
Also, I have heard once from Rulk ( the PsyScripts Developer), that the speed-o-meter is not very efficient.
It mostly gives outdated output, and changes dramatically when you accelerate or brake.

What about players moaning their speedometer speed didnt match !speed and they got suspected?
-
i HATE that idea! hate it hate it hate it!!!!
not cause itll give a cop an advantage for speeding me to suspect, its just doesnt looks good for Argonath RPG for me, irl, cops have gun like stuff, that they press hte "shoot" bottun, and it shows hte speed of a dude in a car.
example:
drunk driver : weeehaaa!!! i love adrenaline!!!
cop : oohh! he must be drunk! :cop:
laser gun thingy : *click* *shows speed (doesnt cahnges till next click)*
laser gun : *1337*
cop : pull over sick-o!
best example i could think of.
so in conclusion, i think htat idea suck, and i hate it. no offence for youre imagination daddy

the !speed command is on some cars sometimes bugged anyways, like on deluxos it kept messing on me like 300 miles :P

You haven't understood this topic. If this idea is implemented, EACH person will see their OWN speedometer, cops would still have to use !speed if they wanted to bust speeders...
And if there is no possibility of having an accurate speedometer we should just remove any speedlimits...

Good Idea JayL same with my idea.
