Make sure if your graphics card has extra power-supply-cord, that it is connected properly. Also make sure everything else is also connected properly. If you're not able to check your PC's temperatures, make sure that your graphics card and processor coolers are properly attached. (if you have desktop).

Another thing it can be your graphics card overheating way too much and actually breaking it. If you think it can be overheating, turn the PC off for few hours and then try again. You could also use System Restore -function from Administrative Tools and after that make a virus scan just incase if it a virus.

It cant be overheating the temps are ok, or it is a virus cause of the download i did or the game was broken and also broke teh PC :/ or some other things idk

Edit: can i just plug out the video card outta the motherboard and plug it again?

It even crashes on desktop....

Can i switch the video card with an old Geforce 2 Mx/Mx 400 just to see if it's the videocard problem?

Nvm.. G2 Mx/Mx 400 doesnt pass in windows vista home premium minimal req (still going to talk with a friend to see if he can give his gpu just to test)

I've found something about putting the video card in the oven. if i take the computer to the store and they say problem rly is in the video card and i will need a new one... i'm up to cook my video card :P

Have you overclocked it too far in the past ?

The best idea would probably be to just get a new card. You can get great cards for cheap nowadays if you shop around :)

Again, it's your video card, not the monitor (I think)

I dont overclock very often but when i do i make sure i dont go past the limit.

Don't have money and i think video card in portugal is srsly overpriced
But let's say... i have 140€ would that be enough to buy a Geforce 9800GT? ( since it's the card i have)

Yeah or it's the video ram that went kaboom or it's cause the system isnt recognizing the video card

1st. Try removing the unneeded gadgets from sidebar.
2nd. Download GPU-Z and take pic of it.
