Thank you.

One question, that may be the same for players
All we do in this account, buy properties, sell, money we earn.. will be saved? Or just a test? like the Other one?

Got the same question...

This is the real one with the real accounts. Money you'll spend will be lost and money you will earn will be actually gained and not lost.

Basicly, if I win 5000$ in this 'new' server, when we back to 'main' one, we will still have the 5000$?
Simple way to ask.

I think those accounts stay.

If this server works out will they are going to continue on this, So for a while remove ur thoughts ur going to main server and imagine this is the main server, Cause its working perfect till now and Yes the account changes will remain.
Eg:- IF u spend 200k don't expect to get the 200k back IF we go back to the old main server.
My Ping is come down from 650(old main server) to 280(New Main Server).
Regards

My ping has gone down by 60%, I think this server is good. :D
-
On the other hand, mine has increased ~40.

LOL :D

The lag isn't as worse as yesterday's (I think), but my ping has sprung from around 170-200 to 375-475 D:

Same here.

Same as before regarding the visual lag... starts when about 75+ on...
-
at least you're not banned...
u never know what you have until you lose it :(

Dude Just shut the F**k up
-
The lag in this new server is unbearable, it's worse than the old server. At least at 70 players plus
-
On the original server, my ping averages on 310 - 450.
On the new server, it averages on 450 - 590.
In short, my ping is worse on the new server than the old one.
-
Ping does not matter that much, unless the change is mega big.
-
I don't lag, but others do lol. :D
-
It's amazing now... Lag is reduced at-least for 50% here.
-
Got the same question...
 You gonna give those people there millions back??
-
Why server is not working?

(Reterviting Info) 83.169.13.159:7777 | SAMP | San andreas..
How do I fix it ?
-
Re-install SA:MP.
-
I just did twice, still the same.
-
Check if you are routeblocked?
-
no no, It's works now.
-
Goddamn Opal Telecom. :(
-
Hate to say it, but it appears to not be working. Lag still seems to have its origination at 70 players, then gets worse by every tens of players that join. Though I will admit, at the old server, when the players were 110+, it would LITERALLY take me one minute to get inside a car with G while someone else was driving it, because their car would be UP DOWN LEFT RIGHT RIGHT DOWN FAR GONE SPEED FREOOM OFF GONE BACK, but this no longer occurs. Maybe it fixed the major stuff, but not all the jumps-from-one-side-to-another thing. I have an opinion that it's the type of internet being used (Dial-up, which I DOUBT HIGHLY, fiber optic, 100mbs, 50mbs, so on...). Maybe if a better internet could be provided for the host or perhaps larger bandwidth limits, think that could fix it?
-
Property icons load much much faster. I like that :)
-
All the European or people who live close to the host complain about the lag becoming worse.
I actually notice that the lag i receive from the server has decreased a good bit, i can play without the effects of lag effecting how the game is played.
I hope this test helps the developers in creating a better environment to host Argonath in.
-
I live in denmark and i can tell that it lags pretty much at me aswell, i see next to no change in the lag.
-
My lag has increased severely. People are properly synchronized to me only when they are standing... When there are 3 people in my office, the lag can be compared to a 100+ people party at V-Rock Hotel in the old RS3 days.

'Same as theese above.
I live, around max .. 50 kilomteres from Battle. I got the same problem. Visual, AND Server lag is like hell for me..
Maybe increase the space on the harddrive on the server, and add a better CPU...
-
The host is on a 1Gb network connection in a 10Gbit Data center.
Processor load is at higest 10% when 100 players., RAM load at 10%, network load at 1%. The harddisk is 15.000 RPM.
The lag does not appear to be in the hardware, as the new hardware is clearly superior to the old one. We might try to use some tweaks but do not expect a lot of fast improvements.

Are you experiencing slow internet, from your INTERNET Host?
Where is the server hosted? Where exactly?
Last time I checked, you hosted it in Germany right?
-
It's hosted at Lustigkurre's backyard in Texas, but it doesnt matter.

On the contrary... nothing wrong with the host and data connection.
-
I'd assume that you have a reliable ISP, which is obviously a recommended prerequisite for running a server, and a good overall connection. I average between 15-30mb/s, it usually varies at the time of day (go figure). I have a pretty good connection compared to my peers, and it was proven that my service provider is the best in my city, which is about 243 square miles, but it has no position in the best in the world, let alone the country. Though, regardless of my pretty decent connection, it wouldn't be recommended for me to run a popular server of any kind because of my router type. I have four computers connected to the router throughout my house. This is because we don't need such a perfect router. But a big business needs an extremely good router to be able to run all those computers, and perhaps a server like Argonath could use a small-business level router (if not already done so), so all the peers connecting don't rape the crap out of the limited bandwidth that's available. Basically summarized, my theory is that bandwidth limits could be the cause. As you said, nothing is wrong with your host or data connection. Nothing's wrong with dial-up neither; it works and runs, it it's slow as hell. May I ask what type of connection and speed/bandwidth you use?
-
Hmm, sometimes it likes like they use "dial in".
But I doubt that, and I know Argonath is running on good servers.
I just wonder, why the lag keeps going :/
-
Not experiencing any major lag since we moved to this one just the odd thiung now and again but overall it's good for me.
-
Lag has gone here... I haven't experienced a single lag since we moved here :) (Except when father's uTorrent was on once)
This is really awesome now :)
-
Wow i wonder what the Lag is like is Like ove here in Australia
Ohh Wait
You Are Banned From this Server
Sucks Right?
-
perhaps it is, as i have said countless times, just the code needing maintained. Put most of the FS's into the GM, remove unused player files, and restart the server.

Doesn't change the fact, that you're only a player on Argonath
-
my ping on this server is now about 57, compared to the old one where i had like around 45. heh. THOUGH im on a 3,5 mb/s connection lol.
-
My average ping were like 47. Mostly its around 80+ now ..
Visual lag is extreme :)
-
I still experience the same lag with 50+ players
-
I have to agree. It sounds more like a bandwidth issue than a connection or hardware one now.
-

Indeed, they just need a higher bandwidth and everything is ok :D
-
Bandwith it good. The issue is, as it has been for some time, file access.

Excuse me for a big "HURR DURR DURPY DURP HURR" moment here, but wouldn't defragmenting the hard drive solve that? Unless you're talking about file access from the internet and back... etc.
-
It would help locally, but network-wise wouldn't do much.
-
Thanks Gandalf
