I'll make it short for you, I'm not writing a book :D
I start up my computer, CPU fan's all "bbbRRRHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR" forEVUH! Then...some big ass triangle thing which I've yet to identified shows up, and text says "CPU Fan error! Press F1 to continue". So I press F1, open my case, and check my CPU fan. I fiddle with the wires (and cutting my finger on the fan to the left side multiple times) and managed to temporarily fixed it. I looked through the blades of the fan, and notice NO WIRES were touching the damn thing on the inside, let alone the outside. So, anyone mind helping solve my issue that pisses me off beyond belief?

Imo dont use it too much or it will stop working and cost overheat like mine did.. seems like the problem is the fan is running slowly..main reason
1: Wires problem most like voltage in not enough
2: Dust?
3: you might have to buy a new one...

It might of been a computer hiccup, or your fan might be...messed up...
Make sure you have your fan pluged into the corrosponding place on the mobo
-
Make sure that your CPU Fan is placed on the 'CPU Fan' -slot. (3-pin) If not, this occurs as your system not identifying your CPU Fan and then not capable of controlling it.

I had an old Toshiba Laptop, and the fan on that was noisy, It was catching on something, and it had dust and Grit in it.
We just got a new Fan, we did something to it which kind helped for a while, but not for long, I cant remember but when I do I'll post it.

check if the fan is pluged it and placed well if yes then you need to check the dust if there is no dust then change it :D

Tried all of the above, even went through the effort of taking the fan completely out. I wasted all that time, only to figure out that the low fan speed was a result of the lack of lube... I happen to have another computer, although it EXPLODED, the fan still worked fine. Problem solved.
