Title: CS 1.6 Problems..

So guys..I was playing CS 1.6 yesterday and somehow i changed the resolution to 740/something.. And when i start CS 1.6 a blank screen shows up and starts destroying the monitor's rezolution..Can you help me please ?

Try re-installing CS 1.6.

What do you mean by destroying the monitors resolution?

i reckon by "destroying his computers resolution"

he means like for example on some machines when you load a game it will load into its default resolution changing

What size monitor is it?

then you just have to set your resolution back to default..

is it your computers setting resolution you changed or the games resolution ?

I assume you are using steam so do this,

1. Goto "My Games", rightclick on the Counter-Strike 1.6 icon choose properties
2. Click on set launch options
3. Type in whatever resolution you want with this format "-w 800 -h 600" eg if you want 1024x768 simply type -w 1024 -h 768.

It happens sometimes... Very often in fact. Just re-install the game or if you're running Vista or above use Proxan's sollution.
