Please, if you call for a /Taxi, actually bother waiting instead of fleeing.
-
I would bother but nobody cares about my call, so... :)
-
We should have a Drivers Radio, like police has /r, Taxi should have /t - That would keep 'em organized.

+1!

Why /t? Why not just /r like police, medics and firemen?
-
I don't support the /t thing, actually. We could always just get a CB channel. I don't really think it would be needed anyway, tough.

or why not /cb like the rest of us? xD

Solution - CB Radio.

I thought /r was for emergencies.. But it doesn't matter, something that would keep Taxi Drivers organized would be great!
Solution - CB Radio.
Some new players, majority of taxi drivers, doesn't know how to use a CB radio, and they really don't need it.

Well, with ALL taxi drivers actually on duty, on the same radio channel, it would make thing easier, as today I've requsted a taxi and like 2 or 3 came at the same time. It could be more organized though...

It sends a message to the group the sender is part of, which in theory doesn't have to be emergency services, so anything can be added to it like drivers

cb radio is not really a good solution. Most of drivers are part of a group, so it's pain in the arse to constantly switch channels. Anyway, /r with something like lime-green color for Taxi Drivers is good.

No, because the other jobs (cop, fireman, medic) are state jobs.
Being a driver is a private company, which won't get script support, just like any other business corporation.

Who said it won't get script support?
I already have ideas on increased script support for drivers...
-
I meant special script support for a driver group

Yup, and in life, if you work for a company, you would sit in the companies channel, not a general one.
-
I'd like to see Drivers on /radio.. It would be cool ;)

That's the point, using a command different than /cb is a big advance, as we will not miss the communication from gang/clan radio.

The time I have been running AVTC, did this happens a LOT.
It's taking away the fun of playing as a driver, and basicly also ruins the company.
With the new car system, less cars are spawned around and therefor it's more needed to call a taxi.
And actually RP for damn sakes, and don't bunnyhop to another car like this is freeroam!
Anyways, my dog eat a cat and I am awesome...

The point of these jobs is ROLEPLAYING, which I belive only a few people only bother to roleplay now.
