I am working on ideas which can improve roleplay capabilities with vehicles
I have started by making a /carlights command
It will turn your car headlights on and off
It toggles, so all you have to type is /carlights
They will not work durig the day or in areas with a lot of light. They will still only work at night.
Also, you can still not leave your vehicle without a driver and keep the lights on.
Both of these conditions can not be changed!
This update is full of potential as it is a gateway for many other updates like this where we can control much more than we could before!

Updates
From the next script restart, the following changes will occur:
Only drivers can toggle the headlights (passengers could before)
The message displayed when you turn them on and off will be extended, telling people how they work exactly.

Nice, maybe you could add this via pressing the button "L" or add a shortcut like "/cl" please..?

This can implement a Law for ARPD about headlights must be on during night.

It is always possible but currently there is no real point to this

You can make your own emergency lightmod now, by scripts ;x.
Maybe ask help from AndySAES? :P

Yeah, we can actually script blinking headlights like the mod but really it's not something we need

lol, I said the simmilar thing in game, except I said "Yay! Now I can rp Secret Service Agent in a black vehicle spying on someone from a deep dark black alley way" or such :P.

Couldn't you use it so that when people use it, it goes off and on, off and on, until they use the command again? or maybe /carblink?

Nice little touch, but using the Cleo mod to do it is..
1#: Easier.
2#: Faster.
3#: Not even more stress on the current (buggy) scripts.
And last but not least, there's more features in the mod.
