Post by: FastSh00T on April 14, 2010, 03:03:13 pm
When i try to install WoW on Local Disk (D:) it said : There is not enough space on your disk drive. WoW installer requires 8 GB of free space.
How come and i got 118 free sapce on Local Disk (D:) or it need to install on drive (C:) ? (Because there is not free space on drive (C:)

BTW, What is the diffrence between --> WoW, WoW:The buring Crusade, WoW:Wrath of the lich king?

You can't become level 80 without Wrath of the lich king.

Wow Classic: You can only progress to level 60

Wow Burning Crusade: You will be able to progress to level 70, You can also use the race "Dranei" if you choose Alliance ( dont know about hordes as I never played horde )

Wow Wrath Of The Lich King:You can progress to level 80

Thats the 3 expansions from Blizzard right now, But Cataclysm is comming out
Remember that you: Need to buy first Wow classic, then Burning Crusade, and then Lich king

Telling him the expansion level caps doesnt solve the problem really?
Are you installing it from CD's/DVD or did you download the installer? And are you SURE that you have over 100gb space on the same disk your trying to install it on

I THINK he just downloaded the DOWNLOADER. Cause WoW ISNT 1mb... its over 10gb..
I think whats happening is here -> The downloader defautly downloads WoW onto your C Disk while it has no space and you would like it to install on D disk?
Go ask WoW Technical Forums and maybe a blue will tell you how to do it.
Should of posted there in the first place anyway.

Oh and by the way. If you download it and you dont yet have an account. You have to still buy the original WoW for cheap to activate your account ( also recieve 1 month extra game time. ) And then you have to buy a game card for game time. ( 30 Euros ). And then you can do everything you could do in the first WoW. Then when your 60 and you have nothing to do you have to buy Burning Crusade, First expansion. Then at 70 --> Wrath of the lich king.. 2nd expansion.
The feature to download WoW from their website is basicily just for people who already have an account but lost their WoW discs or something..

You mean you got the game CD's from your friend? Or an account.
If you install the CD's you still need an account to play. And to create an account you need the CD key that is on the original WoW case ( you cant use your friends serial key since hes already used it ).
So basicily you have to buy a new WoW to get the serial key to create an account. Then to play you have to buy game time. Gamecards are about 30 euros for 2 months. And the first time you activate your account you get 1 month free so 3 months.

BUT IF You got the account from your friend. Then theres np all you have to buy is Game time unless the account already has some left.
