How to mod your own car and how to save it.
I'm making this guide because many people asked me about the new system, I made the guide easy to read and understandable.
/Savecar
/Clearcar
/savecar
First of all, you take your own owned car and go to tune it in the mod shop of the car type ( example - (Wheel Arch Angels,Transfender, Loco Low ) find the modshop of your car type. )
After you have tuned your car inside the modshop, write /savecar.
After you wrote /savecar, you will receive menu and you will see:
Spawn location $2500
Color $500
Paint job $2500
Modifications
Explaining:
Spawn location - Works the same as /delivercar and costs ( $2500.) ..
/delivercar removed..
Color - The option is the same as /paintcar, except both colour IDs are the current colours your vehicle has.
To use it correctly, first enter the modshop and spray your car to certain color you want, afterwards, to save it you must click the " color " option in the /savecar which costs ($500.)
Paint job - Enter the modshop of your car type, inside the modshop click " Paint job " if your car supports paintjobs and choose your favourite paintjob, afterwards, write /savecar and choose the option " Paint job " to save the paintjob permentaly. The option costs ($2500.)
Modifications - Enter the modshop of your car type. Inside the modshop you have to choose what ever you want to add to your car ( Exhaust, Bumpers, Spoiler..etc.. )
(Note - You cannot save nitrous, not added yet).
After you have choosen your favourite modifications. Write /Savecar, choose the option " Modifications ", and click every modification that you have bought in the modshop, if you wont click it, the modfication won't save.
Permentaly modifcations are not free, here are the prices of them ( If you can not afford it, do not buy. )
Spoiler $5000
Hood $2000
Roof $4000
Sideskirt $5000
Lamps $1500
Nitrous Oxide
Exhaust $2000
Wheels $6000
Stereo $200
Hydraulics $30000
Front Bumper $8000
Rear Bumper $8000
Right Vent $5000
Left Vent $5000
/Clearcar - On using /clearcar, you will receive a menu without the " Spawn location " option because the vehicle can not be reset to default location. You will have all the same, expect " Spawn location " option and prices on each modifications, the /clearcar used to remove choosen modifications from the car.
(the prices won't be listed for the other features as clearing features is free of charge)
Beware..
/clearcar now gives refunds when you are removing modifications from the car, but lower
If you buy spoiler for 6000$, you will receive 3000$ back.
/delivercar is removed, from now use /savecar, and "Spawn location" option to spawn your vehicle where you want.
Few modifications may appear to be over priced. The main reason for this is that if prices are lower, a lot more people will save modifications and it will look stupid and unrealistic for everyone to have modified cars all of the time!
Guide made by Cesar Mandeo ( lmpurity ), if you see any mistakes. Tell me ;)
PS : I have been working hard on this guide, so please respect and do not give negative comments if you do not like it. Thanks.

I don't think this has any use, There is already a guide on David's Topic regarding the Updates, And it keeps getting updated.
Anyways, good job.
-
Many people still contiune asking..
-
Thank you for making this guide, I hope now that players will actually understand how to use the system correctly
It is clear that people do not listen to a word that I say but maybe they will listen to you

That's irrelevant as it has nothing to do with /savecar and /clearcar, instead that is to do with modification garages
-
Not in every car you might add a spoiler.. thats an example.
-
Somebody explain me , i saw a huntley whos owner was showing off its spoiler.

:conf:
You can modificate your car... so not realy irrelevant? :)

Yes but saving modifications has nothing to do with adding modifications to your vehicle
The script is for saving your current ones, not for adding them so the fact that some vehicles can't be modified has nothing to do with the script and doesn't need to be explained in the guide

Impossible  .
It was Rancher, for sure.

Good Job with this guide.
Has cleared up a few things.
It's a shame that when you mod the car, if you sell it, you don't get any of the money back you paid for the mods, whereas in real life, you would.
maybe we should get 70% of the price of the mods back when we sell our car ^^

That would not happen.

No to this and no to refunds when you use /clearcar
Unless I believe it will give people less of an incentive to always have their cars modified

The prices of the modifications are normal in my opinion..
-
Impossible  .
It was Rancher, for sure.
I'm sure it was Huntley. Yellow with offroad rims.
-
nice guide :)
-
Note:
Don't like the price?, then don't mod your vehicle, simple as that.
-
Well said.
-
Very good post but i think you should lower the prices a bit. i understand that if u lower the prices themn heaps people will get mods and it will be not RP.
-
Its really nice but its little expensive to make ur car full u need about 100k :)
-
Unless I believe it will give people less of an incentive to always have their cars modified
Well clearly if they have an expensively modded car they will put off selling it even if they'd probably prefer a different one.
I'm sure it was Huntley. Yellow with offroad rims.
You can't add a spoiler to a huntley.
If any script ever tried to add a spoiler manually, the server would crash.

Your right.
- I own Elegy and I have paid about ...135,000$? The valuve and the mods.
And I'm not going to sell it.
