Alright man, I'm a noob at editing skins myself, BUT.. I figured it out, how you can edit 'em.
Well, first of all you need:
- TXD Workshop
- Photoshop ( or any other program that can edit pictures, images, etc. )
Now, open the TXD Workshop, then open the gta3.img and search for your skin's TXD file! (TXD workshop hasn't got a search function, so you'll have to find it yourself)
When you've found it, open it, and one or multiple images will appear in it, the templates. Click on the template with your skin, that shows its face, clothes 'n' stuff. Then, click on the button "Export" and export that file as a PNG or BMP file. Attention: DON'T forget to back up the TXD file!!!
Well, now you've got your template exported. Now, open Photoshop (or any kind of these programs I mentioned) and OPEN the template file in it. Now you may do anything lulzworthy, like.. try to paint the face red.. or anything you'd like. (Just for the first try, to let you know that it works)
Now, save the file as a PNG or BMP file, NOT as a Photoshop file.. or anything, JUST as a PNG or BMP file.
Hohoho, now go back to your TXD workshop, click on the standart template of your skin ( with the face, clothes n shit ) and click on "import", and import the edited .png/.bmp file!
You've just replaced the template with your edited one. Click on "Save TXD", go back to your game, and take a look at your edited skin!
(If you need more professional help, like adding REAL clothes to your skin, or anything different, contact me, as this was just a total beginner tutorial. )
