Title: Resolution of San Andreas
Post by: Reventon on May 09, 2010, 08:56:22 pm
Hi.

Got a notebook with widescreen, San Andreas was working fine, I formated my com, and the SA screen only fills the center of the screen now. Screen resolution of my notebook is 1366 x 768.
And the max SA resolution is at 1024 x 768 x 32.
Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit.
Please help :)
Thanks in advance.

Should be somebody around here with a solution... I don't think I'm the only person with a widescreen :roll:

I found this, but the problem now is the text on the main chat. Tried with /pagesize, nothing changes, instead of that the chat moves a little bit up/down... Need some way to change it's size, and hereby also it's "graphic". Take a look on the picture:

Please let me know what I shall change, full text of the .ini file:

; enable everything.
enabled=1

; change the resolution ID.
; set this to 'default' to keep it unchanged.
; Note: these IDs depend on the user's graphics driver/card
resolution=default

; patch SA to allow 1920x1080
; default value: yes
allow_hd=yes

; set this to 'yes', if you want to see when your resolution ID changes
; default value: no
res_debug=yes

; how long to show res_debug text, in milliseconds
res_timeout=5000

; should I load another d3d9 proxy?
; default: 'no', change to filename.dll to activate
other_dll=no

the patch for GTA SA changes the EULA.. and this is why SA-MP wont work on it, since the new EULA says no reverse engineering, and SA-MP is one mod like that... as long the EULA allows it, it only plays on the default installation which is the game without the patch + the new EULA agreement.

the 1920 x 1080 is on the patch.. which does not work with SA-MP.

Do you even know what you are talking about? Read the topic before releasing the shit out of your mouth like you just did. It works just perfectly, it has given three more options on the resolution, and 1366x768 is hereby one of them. They all work perfectly, only thing is the main chat..
And BTW, it shows "Resolution: ID 14" at the SA load up screen, and that's what I need to change.
