I have San Andreas for steam.  I just recently saw this mod and now am obsessed with starting to play it.  It is not compatable with the steam version of this game, and I do not feel like waiting for it to get mailed to my house.  So if i purchased the game from http://www.direct2drive.com/5510/product/Buy-Grand-Theft-Auto:-San-Andreas-Download (http://www.direct2drive.com/5510/product/Buy-Grand-Theft-Auto:-San-Andreas-Download) and downloaded the mod, would that work?

Just downgrade to lower patch of SA! The downgrader is (or was) available on Argonath main website!

It not work sadly.  Baught it and then read online after I failed horribly at downgrading that you cant download this version.  Went to the store and bought the trilogy pack for like thirty bucks.  But it is totally worth it cause this mod looks awesome!
