WHAT IS IT?
The Argonath RPG Navy is the mother of The Argonath RPG Navy Coast Guard or Coast Guard / CoastGuard / Coastguard for short.
The Coastguard has two main services which include:
Search & Rescue
Search and Rescue is performed by trained people who love saving and protecting lives.
If you're lost out at sea or even in a scary forest, you can count on us to help you.
Sea and Air Defense Patrol.
The CoastGuard when not saving lives or when dedicated to this service works with the ATC, ARPD and on /duty to make sure the sky's, sea, coast and inland (where needed) is protected from contraband that may be smuggled into the mainlands by the sea, and general suspects who are at sea or in the air.
How Do I Join?
You will be accepted into CoastGuard as long as you meet the following:
For Search and Rescue.
You must show that you are capable of how to safely rescue someone without causing danger to yourself, the one needing rescue or others.
you need to have some basic medical / life saving experience such as Lifeguard training, how to resuscitate someone, and more serious such as trauma handling, however hopefully we can stabilize and deliver any causalities to EMS in good time.
For Air and Sea Defense:
It is better that you have previous experience of fighting crime, combat, patrolling (sea, or in the air).
For both:
You need to know the map well. You need to know how to use in-game /gps command / GPS navigation in general.
You will need safe and adequate aircraft and boat handling abilities - this means you know how to fly: Shamal, Dodo, Raindance or sail in launcher.
You must have excellent communication skills, own a CB Radio (/buy radio in an electronic shop), a phone, a house or permanent address.
You must also have a passport and an on land drivers license.
If for any of the above you do not have experience / knowledge you will get training or advice so you can then become an official CoastGuard.
Something amazing: anyone can use "CoastGuard" as long as they don't act silly , illegally or impersonate - and they must recognize the authority of those listed as CoastGuards.
They can use it to raise awareness in /ad that they can rescue or in /e or /p. Not anyone can use [CG] tag however. Also if you are asked to stop using CoastGuard then you must. By using you understand that Argonath RPG Navy, Argonath RPG CoastGuard Navy does not have any liability for your bad actions. It's like Freecop of CoastGuard.
Perhaps you may use "LifeGuard" but that belongs to CoastGuard but it is not used currently for any group.
The Argonath RPG Navy Coast Guard has a rich history.
It worked hard to get hold of permanent resources and received hundreds of praise from normal players - not including those who role-played with us.
