Title: I was a witness to murder
Post by: Dex507 on June 01, 2010, 04:15:58 pm
So this rivalry thing with two of the giant drug clans have been going on for a while, it was the usual stuff.
But since few days they seem to be taken it to a whole new level!

I was on a little vacation with 2 of my friends, we went to Kotor, and rested at this great cafe (Which was led by a notorious Darko Saric[The suspected leader] and his henchmen, didn't know that..) We were talking when this guy came onto the main streed and peacefully walked towards a desk where Dragan Dudic and his bodyguards were (Didn't know he was one of co-leaders of Darko's clan). The guy pulled out a gun and shot 3 or more times into Dragan, then the hell broke loose.

Imagine, main street full of German tourists and locals that were screaming and running.
I shitted myself, to be honest, I still couldn't believe this was happening..
While I got to myself the guy was already far away, and the bodyguards were chasing him.
The rest of the story I can tell but not from my experience, but from public sources.
The bodyguards caught the guy and almost beat him to death with guns and fists, he was then treated at the hospital and survived. The target - Dragan is dead and the bodyguards are detained for disrupting of public peace, unlicensed firearm carrying and others (I guess it's the only way to put big time criminals behind bars - small crimes).

I can't way to see what will happen in future! For full and public story go here (http://www.economist.com/blogs/newsbook/2010/05/montenegrin_murder).
Anyway, this has been a wild experience for me, because I did grow up watching mob movies and games, so this was a big thrill to me, that's so wrong  :trust:

I guess your mafia RP in game will change a bit now.  :D

Yeah its shocking when such things happen in real life. But learn two things.
- These were obviously professionals from a mafia. The guy who was ordered to kill got killed, and the bodyguards did not kill the killer but delivered him to the police.
- There was no waving with machine guns or killing innocent people.

Chill out and remember the right thing is not to get involved but to get out of the way.

Actually, it seems there's even something more behind this.
The guy who did the hit was a close friend of a taxi-firm leader that got killed last year, right then this guy swore that he will find out who did it and revenge him.
I think the guy who was killed now was the one behind the murder of a taxi leader.
I guess, what comes around goes around...

Anyway, you are right, but I wonder what my actions would be if I witnessed murder only by myself, I wonder would I had the courage to go to police.. I would ask my self can I trust the police, or can I trust anyone at that matter... as long as I know, my dad could be a drug dealer and my mom could be a hitman sent to kill me
You know? Is it always right to stay silent or to take actions, to get envolved?

You're shocked?

Honestly.. I wouldn't be, since I'm not involved.

Just a few weeks ago, I saw a guy get shot down by a 17-year old on a motorcycle, just at the street corner near my house, with a sub-machine gun (seriously, it's like anyone can get anything on the street now. :trust:) Turns out the murder victim beat up the older brother of his killer, and it was an act of revenge. The killer was eventually apprehended by local law enforcement. Like other gamers, I've seen shit and gore, but it still shocked me, because things are different when real life is the case. You can't just witness an abortion and only react by saying "ZOMG SPAWNKILLING".

If you do witness such a thing alone, I advise you to always approach the police, or any other government law enforcement that can be trusted.

I've witnessed a guy who stabbed another guy in "Sudlon", Cebu. So shocking to see, I was still 9 that time.

Always remember. Everything happens for a reason.

Drug syndicates don't usually kill innocent bystanders, so if you drop down on the pavement you won't get accidentally shot.
Anyways, your best bet is not getting involved with any mafias, so never go to the police and just forget what you saw. Only go to the police when you have a guaranteed way of staying anonymous and putting the felon behind bars.

So they pump that Darko Saric doll. You were lucky they were professional enough to kill only him, and not the people around, which happens many times during the Serbian and Montengero Mafia shotouts.

+The same guy was asked to be deported to Serbia few weeks ago, for organizing the biggest drug market in Europe, Montengro Goverment refuse it, so you can go  and blame Milo Djukanovic (Prime Minister of Montenegro), and their refusal to co-operate together with other country on Balkan ( Even Croatia and Serbia and Bosnia work united on this "Armagedon" plan ) in the biggest anti-Mafia war,  since they are his business partners anyway.

Specialy if the Don of that Mafia is the PrimeMinister of the Country in which  the trial is happening.

When you see someone gunning someone else down, just hide somewhere and dont interfere. Only some of you know my dad is a biker club vice president. When I am with him some tough shit happen... He gets shot once-twice a month, last time got him in hospital till now. 1 time he was shot I was with him. All hell broke loose, the good thing is that my dad's friends helped him out, I just stood there and still couldnt undestand what happend that day... And yes, if you see someone get shot/killed remain calm and walk away like nothing happend, this way you wont attract the attention of the criminals. Read somewhere that 39.3% of the civilian victims of crimes are because they interfared and got shot down, stabbed and killed.
Also in my country the mafia runs everything, 1 or 2 years ago a mafia connected businessman got his car blown up near our school. I was shocked...
Well there are a few tips you can follow when in criminal cities: Know how to evade, and not remain noticed, and allways carry a melee, long range weapon, 9mm or a knife.

Right, but the fact is, and that's what makes me most sad, is that this town used to be a gateway to heaven... something like miniature Miami with no criminal activities (at least not public, like now).
It was really something...I'm ashamed of my country, tho Cofi is absolutely right..
How can you fight crime if you are criminal? I guess you can't.

You're underestimating Florida, man.

Where I live, we got this "Hells Angels" and "Bandidos" war going on at the moment, since Bandidos moved to the same territory as Hells Angels have been for many years.

War between 81 and Banditos is harsh yes, but try living in a town in which 81s and mongols recently moved in...

THe only thing you can do to not anger both of the Banditos and 81s is just to stay away from their turf, and refrain from insulting them, I remember reading bout some woman beaten up infront of NYC Hells Angels clubhouse for saying "You guys need to clean your bikes a bit"

I haven't witnessed such scenes before. But I can understand very well how it would feel to be in a situation like that. By watching someone killed and picturing that you could end up like that - You would be mentally retarded if you weren't shocked at all.

The best thing to do in such situations of course is to simply not get involved. Keep your head low and keep out of the way. Unless if the attacker is mentally retarded (which can happen and it'll suck shit if you do approach someone like this), he wouldn't have any reason to kill you.

It's always best to keep out of mafian or triad business. I would personally agree to not testify against a mafian person because by doing so, you piss off an army of bad guys who then try to kill you. If you are forced to do it (like you'll get jailed if you don't or whatever), then always make sure your identity is covered.
