We received a call from two people claiming they witnessed corruption from an officer of the law, which resulted in a few issues due to the fact we did not have any proof. The situation was mostly described by both witnesses: "He was yelling and pointing a gun at both of us", "He told us to surrender, when obviously we weren't wanted by the police". This situation appeared to lead into confusion, as both of the witnesses claimed the officer was corrupted and only wanted to break into the house for other meanings. One of the theories suggested that no sides can be taken in this, since there might be a misunderstanding: Officer Angel from ACSD claimed he "received a burglar alarm" at a residence in El Corona. "I responded to the call as I normally would as procedure allows with lights and sirens." The officer quickly noticed a female and male standing near the zone and he swiftly followed instincts yelling at both people to surrender and not move. This was considered as cop abuse since the officer could not know if they are criminals or not, when indeed they weren't. The officer contradicted this by saying that their procedure is "considering everyone suspects until investigated and cleared." Both of the witnesses were at gun point since the officer claimed he did this because of the "fear of his life". When asked about the violence, the officer quickly responded that he tried to remain in control of the situation to make sure they are not the burglars. It was a fact that they didn't have any tools whatsoever which can be violent or giving any risk to officer Angel's life. This report can be concluded that both sides misunderstood the situation and therefore resulting in accusations. The small group were fighting for the release of one of their friends who had recently been arrested for posessing nothing more then a Cigarette. Cops arrived at Gas Station 9 and saw the said individual smoking. They arrested the man under suspision that the cigarette was weed. Without even a field test or an investigation, the man was forced to the Police Departmnet and jailed. The mans friends belive this to be discrimination against the black community. They say that becuase he was black, the police instintly assume that he is carrying drugs. This incident is but one of the many cases of discrimination shown by the Los Santos Police in the past few months and citizens have had enough. During our questioning for this news report we were approached by a Los Santos Police Officer who interupted the interview by saying; "Things like this would never happen if you people didnt treat others like shit" This officer was blatently saying that this discrimination is caused because police see the black community as disrespectfull and use their power to get back at them. This brings to question, Why has the rate of corruption reports risen in the past few months? Is it because of the growing tention between black and white communities in Los Santos? or mayne its because of the lack of disciplin in the Argonath Police Deparmtent. AGN is owning state around 300,000$ for the rent of their news vehicle and bills of broadcasting on the TV. It is actually not making any improvement because almost all news reporters have either left or were fired for inactivity. This is something sad to see for such a promising company. AGN was planning to be the best around, but it's now unable to continue this dream. It's now known inside the team that if someone is not found to buy the company, the company will just be scrapped, and the big dream will be destroyed. AGN Director TheRock Kolta is looking to sell the company to anyone who is interested to take up the AGN and make it active again, Because he does not have the budget to continue working on it.
