The main leader of IV:MP ("jenksta") has made a denial of service to many SA:MP servers.
Kye and the rest of SA:MP team working on the patch up SA:MP with a new Server package soon. R8 with will reduce the DOS attacks.
However, I don't think ArgonathRPG should support IV:MP. There have been much talk about that these "developers" is just a bunch of kids with have taken the SA:MP source code. This can damage ArgonathRPG's image!

I have never really believe in IV:MP. But after this? No, I won't Believe that IV:MP will go far. The fact is, It's not even worth playing IV:MP as there can't handle there mature level.
And by supporting IV:MP now, would be totally badass. They actually want to revenge on SA:MP devs for what? Taking their players? lolwut.

If the developers of IV:MP are behind this, they should think twice about what they want. We do not support a community built on hate, however at this time there is nothing but some internet forum talk.

I have to agree with the topic creator, the idea of IVMP is really substandard.
I'm not really against about the IVMP idea but after I have read the story it made me feel worser about IV.

I think this is just an attempt of Kye trying to close down IV:MP, And stop the creating of servers of IV:MP by well known Communities.
As for our IV:MP Server, we are still going to develop it further.

Kye and JeNkSta... I already know since long time they have their issues.
As long WE have no proof we will keep things up as it is.
Although it's not our problem what kind of private fights SA:MP and IV:MP developers has.
I know there are many issues between them, which already started with the start of creating
IV:MP.
Kye was denieing it and classing it as "illegal". Which is, as we now now, legal. The Issues
between them should be solved between them. Untill there is not further notice, would not
even I try to get involved in this.
As my mum told me always... A fight is always between TWO parties. Which means that we
should also not support the SA:MP development?
PS: Many IV:MP Developer theirself are still SA:MP players and SA:MP server developers!

I don't even know why they started IV:MP without Kye... he showed up hes is good.
If it was his own fault to be in IV:MP development? I dunno if he even got asked...
But to be honestly I don't even care... I want that to be solved...

All I can say to this is that IV:MP has nothing to do with jenksta's "LS-RP e-drama".
Also, it's not true that he currently attacks many servers (such as GamerX) or released a tool to do that.

To be honest, I had that idea when i saw Kye's post. Kye still has a problem with the development of IV:MP, and this may be all him.
But all we can do is watch and see what happens and I hope that the IV:MP Developers are now behind this...

We will keep up SUPPORTING IV:MP. It always seemed to be the most potantial project.
I will not let them down cause of Kye posting something, which NOBODY can proof.
Either it is a personal attack against IV:MP development wich he always disliked or
he just is right - But as I said we cannot proof that and I won't try to do it.
PS. All I know for example is that the IV:MP development don't wants that fights with SA:MP...
but some people might want it...

Well. I don't think we all believe that IV:MP is launching attacks. It would be stupid to generalize a whole group of people because of one bad apple. I personally like IV:MP, and I see a lot of potential in it. I'm also glad that you would go around posting on forums, and show the time and commitment to squash this rumour.

It's your own choice. I just pointed out it may be a danger of the Argonath's image.
As Gandalf said; "We do not support a community built on hate". We know now that IV:MP and SA:MP hates each other. And everything may have been started by IV:MP. This is why I think we should not support IV:MP.

IV requires way too much from MY pc :< - if SA:MP Argonath crashs, I way till it's on :) - No plans of moving to IV.

Both parties have a bad image.
SA-MP: Kye has had numerous PMS-like temper tantrums and shut down SA-MP because he couldn't handle the demands. Kye has also verbally attacked/threatened many other programmers who tried creating a Multiplayer mod for GTA. He tried attacking VC:O on GTA Gaming... I told him where he stood and to get off his high horse, otherwise he will be looking at a ban, and he stopped.
Kye has also disrespected dedicated large server owners on SA-MP, threatened them to pay money (40 euro per month) to be official when the official list was active.
IV-MP: As far as I can see is a conversation log which contains Jenkstas IP.
Yes, he may of intentionally crashed LS-RP, that is the only bad image that sits on the IV-MP mod so far...
No one here knows if certain parts of that conversation were modified... Logs mean nothing for that exact reason.
Also, the possibility of an incompatible ALPHA server browser could very well be the issue. One of the developers may have tried a new method for SA-MP to connect to a server and it had some flaws... You never know.
I'm just saying that I don't think logs are enough proof to judge this circumstance, witnessing actions of another person (kye) is.
