Title: 'Taking Combat from ass'...
Post by: Jamal on August 12, 2010, 01:52:13 am
Do you expect someone to warn you they are going to kill you? /me pulls out gun from cabinet, /me puts bullets into shotgun, /me opens fire.

Do you want that? Then there is no reason for guns because the people your targeting will be in there car calling the cops.

Cops do this... moan about criminals doing it. Criminals do it, moan about Cops doing it. Mafias complain on other mafias doing it, while they just got done doing it themselves. Its so ridiculous.

What kind of term is this, in your opinion?

In my opinion, the term is only used by people who get killed by someone and try to find some excuse. I hate it when people try to make themselves sound like a wizard by saying' YOU PULL COMBAT FROM ASS THATS LAME ' well you probably do it to, EVERYONE DOES IT, and then MOSTLY EVERYONE moans about it.

On the bright side.. this can actually be Roleplayed. Leon told me to bend over and pulled to my ass and found combat!

Mostly in my case, I ask suspected person to surrender and he ignores me with "AFK". After 4 miliseconds I do the gunpoint command and they pull out a M4 and kill me.

I just want, that the conversation would lead into the possibility of my opponent taking out his/her gun and shoot at me. Not as so much as warn, but more that when you are role playing you can understand that the situation's tension is rising.

It surely would be nice if the criminals could warn us that a possible gunfight may happen. Not exactly as your example stated

Cops do this...

Certain cops or cops in general?

Any action which is visible on screen should not be announced in /me.
However as Jubin mentioned indication that someone is escalating the situation in to a gunfight would always be welcome.
