AMA is Argonath's local Marine Authority, Established in 1887 when merchant shipping was at its heights, Our mission has and always will remain the same, We want to keep the waterways safe and clear.
Aim:
Our main aims are:
- Keep the water ways clear of crime.
- Control incoming/outgoing ships/boats.
- Keep ports and harbours in order.
- Improve the boating experience within the community
Careers:
AMA offers a variety of jobs for different skills:
- Marine Patrol Officer - Objective: To keep ports and harbours in order.
- Immigration officer - Objective: To control incoming/outgoing traffic.
- Harbour/Port masters - Objective: To control and maintain a certain harbour or port.
- Engineers/Maintenance - Objective: To manage the construction, Maintenance of a harbour or port, also to carry out work on boats and authoritative marine areas.
