Post by: Philip_McRay on September 17, 2010, 11:48:57 pm
Hi, I just bought this game, got to like.. level 6 or whatever. But randomly, I was level 70. Anyone knows a way to switch back to level 6?

Got the same problem as we were playing together at the time. I was level 18 and suddenly became level 70.

lol you were playing in a modded lobby

no way to get back to level 6 unless you want to create another account

(EAM might work if you're on PC, give it a try? I'll get you a link if you want it)

Okay, I'll try that out. But let's say that I start off from level one and I get to level 70 again by some hacker? Isn't there any way to protect my game from this?

Download EAM (http://files.dotbas.net/MW2StatUtility.zip)

1) Open up MW2StatUtility.exe

2) Go to your \players\ folder.

3) Select the .stat file to convert. Don't know which one to select? Look below.

4) Save the playerstats.txt in the same folder as EAM.exe.

5) Run EAM and the game(It must be run with the updater).

6) Click on Import Stats in EAM.

How to select which .stat file :
a) The game makes a backup for each and every level after a game, this will help to convert it to EAM playerstats.txt.
b) Do not select the files with .bak_* in them.
c) The levels are displayed like this : *_prestige_actuallevel-1*
For example : md202ef8d_0_49_1100001353c966f.stat
The numbers in red are the ones that you should look at. The first _0 means its 0 prestige and _49 means level 50 (49+1).
