I thought i had been over this with admins like 5 times now. I pull infront of lspd and go afk or something and open the window back up and am suspected for improper parking. either that, or there are like 5 freecops around me shooting "INFERNUS MOVE", "CAR MOVE FUCKING NOW" or things like that. is it illegal or not?
-
its a Police car Parking just for the Lspd
u can stay to let people off and such but u cant park there
-
afk
Don't leave your game unattended.
If you're blocking the entrance/road, you can get suspected. Go park at LS Bank or behind LSPD instead.

Uhm, I barely see ANY cop parking their PD-car in front of LSPD

Strangely, I always park there!
-
There's a reason an LSPD car and a HPV spawns there...
-
It is indeed illegal, stated by the USAA laws you may not park any kind of vehicle in front of a public government building.
-
so youre not supposed to park in front of city hall, lspd, firemans station, and probably many other places? And why did admins tell me that it was legal if it is not?
"you may not park any kind of vehicle in front of a public government building."
Does 'you' include every citizen of argo or does 'you' mean me as a civillian.

Because it's not against the rules. It's against the roleplay laws we have though.

indeed but u cant force someone to Rp but count on get suspected or kicked if u park there and ignore the Rp rules
-
if i remember right from AVDS lessons, it's not allowed to park your car infront on PD's and City halls.
-

Forcing roleplay indeed is not supported, but if you break the roleplay laws you are also agreeing to roleplay and can't therefore refuse because "roleplay is not forced here". An example of this is if you're driving normally (according to the laws) and get pulled over a cop, you may refuse from roleplay in case you're not on the mood or are about to leave the game. If you are speeding though, you are breaking the roleplay laws on the server and therefore cannot refuse from roleplaying if you get suspected or pulled over by police.
-
Constitution says that you cant park infront goverment buildings. In this case the small two vehicles parklot infront LSPD. Just dont do it.
-
However if no cars are in that small parking place at the front of LSPD anyone may use it.

WHAT?
If you don't want to fucking roleplay, go sit in your house ingame and don't break the laws then.. Jesus.

WHAT?
If you don't want to f**king roleplay, go sit in your house ingame and don't break the laws then.. Jesus.
roleplay can't be forced. all roleplay on argonath is supposed to be optional. people sometimes play Argonath just to hang out, so don't force rp on them or it'll turn into a lame SRSRP server which we don't want to happen.
-
It really isn't that of a big deal.

You got the "no force RP" rule all wrong.
You can't force an action on a player with just text messages - eg. force someone to not move because you typed /me ties him up, or force him to not use his cb when you /me takes away his CB radio.
This is a role-play server and you're meant to role-play, not ignore players. Hanging out and chatting is ok, but if a cop pulls you over or a player tries to rob you - you cannot dismiss them with "I don't want to RP with you go away".

I wish if other players know that ^(Look up) then down.
Cop : Hi guys!, What are you doing?
Criminal : Get the fuc' outta of here
Criminal2: (( We don't want to role-play with you, go away ))
Criminal3: (( Don't ruin our RP you fool ))
Criminal4: (( You can't force us to RP ))
Cop : I am not forcing you to RP, I just said "Hi!". Forcing RP is powergaming.
Crimnal5: (( Stop forcing us to RP with you, Or i will report you ))
Criminals reports the cop for "Forcing RP" but he didn't force them to RP he just said "Hi!"
Admin watches the cop through administer's command.
Random Criminal flames the cop and starts to shoot him.
Cop takes cover and quickly reports the Random criminal (( I was lucky that the admin was watching me )
Admin copban/kick the random criminal.
Cop runs away and calls for backup.
ARPD Units arrives at sense and starts to shoot criminals
Almost of criminals die and one of them get jailed by the first cop.
This is the a good example of ArgonathRPG criminals (Players).

If someone says No sorry I dont want to RP I say "Well you joined the wrong fucking server then" and Drive away.

I have the balls to admit that this is true.

Also Lauren you are NOT allowed park infront of Any goverment place like Police,Fire,Paramedic departaments, you can be punished for this .

Same applies for all of those buildings. As long you do not obstruct their garages exits everything is okay.

Seems that someone completely missed my post on the first page.

This same thing was actually told several months ago by our dear owners.

Or just /q when you go AFK, like I always do

What if you are playing as a fireman (which would be a government employed job I assume) and you park infront of a gov't building such as lspd?
You keep saying "no LAUREN you can't do this/that". I would like you know if when it's being said ('you') that its speaking of civillians or cops. I assume cops are allowed to park infront of all gov't buildings, so I know thats not a question of mine.
A few times I have been pulled over by new players for going through a red light. I understand that IRL thats not allowed, but I've never seen it enforced ingame other than by new players. Are traffic lights held strictly or not?
Also about the RP, I can say personally I know some people that I just don't like to RP with because they spell extremely bad/slow/always the same situation or lines/ends in shootout everytime. I think you have to go along with it though, can't just RP with only the people that you enjoy doing it with.

This thread, indeed, proves even more the stupidity of females.
You're still here, why?
I've always known it's been illegal. Mainly because of the fact I got a ticket for it. If you don't want to get suspected for parking there, then don't fucking do it.
-
This discussion is about if its legal or not, And the answer was given. As long you do not obstruct their garage Exit or there is no car belonging to the organization there, you can use it.
-
You're still here, why?
dno
-
So basically as long as you're not ramming another car out of the way to park there, its ok?
-
when you make your driving license you learn something like "Do not park in front of ANy governement building" lspd is what? a civilian house? ofc NOT, ofc its ilegal to park in front of LSPD/CHLS/CHSF/CHLV/SFPD/LVPD/DPD.
-
all I remember from getting my driver liscense is paying someone money, driving from LSPD to GS9 without crashing and then getting a liscense

Driving schools should refresh their material (Yes i will talk to edward about ARDS)

WTF lol O.o

WTF lol O.o
I blame you Chris for this teaching! :P (joke <3)
And to answer, yes it is illegal, and whenever I am on footduty around LSPD/LVPD, I DO use my megaphone and drive civilians out of the government parking, if they don't comply I fine them. (They usually do comply)
That area is ONLY for government vehicles. If you have doubt, re-enter the driving schools and confirm this information ;)
-
It is over *claps*, C'mon everybody let's go to the bed.
-
I always park there and I am always suspected by ARPD Officer because of it. =D
-
Is this law school or a RP server ? :conf:
I have spent a lot of time cleaning the LSPD parking, while I was not spectating or in other things...
Whenever a non-police car would park there I would tell the owner to park elsewhere as its a police parking only. If they ran in to the PD to go on duty, I re-parked the car behind the milk bar (WTF my car is stolen, ADMINS!!!!). If they replied with disrespect they could get suspected, though that rarely happened.
If some smartass locked the car, a towtruck was ordered and car removed...
Whenever I was online parking was clean. And as it was on (at the time unknown) UC nick it did not depend on my authority.
Instead of questioning and arguing if it is allowed that you go AFK somewhere, how about RP ?
-
If you try to RP, ARPD Officer will suspect you and kill you without any warning. That happened to me. Many times.
I don't care if my car is towed or I am suspected, but I care if I am killed without asking to surrender. ^^

People like THIS are part of the problem. They are automatically biased against our new players.
Why not try treating them like people instead of piece of shit? Maybe they might treat you nice then.
-
also when you're taking the License Test, the examiner tells you not to park in front of ANY GOVERNMENT bulding. :rules:
-
And why did they suspect you ?
For "bad parking"

Ye right. How can I explain him anything if he shoots me and the only thing in this world he wants is those 500 bucks?
Lame.

Without.

did my reply on here get removed? I said lock please, this topic is old and annoying
-
However, there is only one exception to the "NO PARKING INFRONT OF LSPD" law. And that exception is buses. If you look infront of LSPD, there is a bus stop sign. Thus making both sides of the road, including the small parking area infront LSPD, a bus stop.
