Title: Connecting problem
Post by: Jamba on October 18, 2010, 09:48:17 pm: My friend installed everything according to the guides available in this forum but when he tried connecting, it just stopped, so it remains on the "Connecting..." thing and nothing happens. Yes, his computer supports GTAIV and patch is 1.0.07 etc etc.

Yes, he is using the latest beta, I should ask him about the firewall =). Thanks for the help, I will see if that's the problem.

I think he is typing the IP and hitting Connect.

I don't think that's the problem because you can see in the SS that in the end on the IP of the server it says 9999.
