Title: Doubt about usage of vehicle mods on IV:MP
Post by: Frank_West on October 18, 2010, 10:15:54 pm
Does IV:MP sets the handling to the original one or it keeps the modded one and is it allowed to have vehicle mods?

Yes 80% of the IV:MP mods do have modified handling.I wouldn't suggest you add any mods onto the game as you actually don't know what do you download and put on your game. They are not verified, are they? They can corrupt your game. We had a player who had a police cruiser mod.Luckily he spawned in front of a cruiser after he installed the mod.Guess what?He couldn't log in and spawn.

As Void said, most of the mods will corrupt IV:MP, even if they dont change anything else than the looks of the vehicles, I do not suggest using any mods, atleast in the current IV:MP version.

Firstly moddeling Grand Theft Auto IV is illegal as you do break the EULA (Game License).
You are not allowed to change the games engine, therefore modding it is actually not allowed.
On other hand changing and kind of handlings is hacking (it could give you advantage).
Faster cars, Better handling - Rules clearly says it's not allowed therefore you will be punished.
So regarding that 2 facts, it's your decision if you really do mod it or not ;P
