I've noticed this for a while, and it seems to be a consistent problem:
As far as I can see, the main Search feature (top right of the Argonath forums) does not seem to work, whatsoever.
This seems to be the same for any forum board that you are on, whether just searching the forums as a whole, or one particular area.
My guess is that there's a problem with the database system.
Anyway, this is the "An Error has Occurred!" message that I received:
"The database value you're trying to insert does not exist: id_search"
Thanks. :)

I always have that error too.. reloading won't work, and even typing more than one word won't work.
-
Yea, I think it must have cropped up sometime after the last major downtime, as I remember it working prior to that.
-
Its for everyone,i think.
While restoring forum and page,it might have gone wrong .. or something

Yea, it doesn't seem to be user specific. Hopefully the owners/web administrators will run into this topic soon, if they haven't already been notified.

You must be one of the lucky ones. ;)
Does anything else work, though? I tried 3 words, but it still gives the same error message.

Hmm, I have had a go on both Internet Explorer and Safari, but still the same result. Others (outside of this topic) have also noticed this problem.
I guess if it was a browser specific problem, then there are compatability issues. I just tried out the search features on other SMF based sites (ARPD being one), and they all seem to be fine.

It's an issue with the forum, not related with the browser somehow.
It works when I used 3, 4 words to search... Which sometimes get no results :(.

That is odd...
From what I found, it seems to work when you search from a topic, but there is an error when you try and search from the main forum index.

I created a Google Custom Search for my personal use, but feel free to use it. Here! (http://www.google.com/cse/home?cx=017441665470964377796:mtswmnubmcm)

How did you do that :O

Ah thanks man, that's really cool. :D
It searches for keywords from the whole site, eh? Cheers!
