moan

o wait

I agree... I hate it whenever you try to question what someone has done, like if someone hits your car and blows it up ''Why did you blow up my car dude?'' ''MAON. MAAAOOON MOOOAN''

Your avatar really represents how you must be feeling in general.

Cheer up and look on the brighter side of life:

Frank oh come on, it can be a brighter side of life to a lot of the people in here, but for me it is just good looking jail bait. Taking that into consideration it does not make me see the brighter side of life.

PS: When somebody is making a topic, trying to start a discussion in Argonath community. Then a lot of the times, I see many people replying to the original post with: "Here we go again...", "not this shit again...", "not another moaning topic", "what is the point of this topic" etc. I really dislike these kind of replies. They are discouraging everybody to even try and make a contribution into the community. Also these kind of replies tries to give hints like the topic is somewhat false and made for moaning, but the reality is different. The topic is usually not a moaning topic until the first guy who replies to it the way I described earlier. If I get that kind of a reply to my post in this topic - thank you for proving my point with your own ignorance.

PPS: My apologizes to Frank Hawk, as these girls aren't actually girls no more as they are young ladies. So yeah, it is a brighter side of life. But also you can understand why I made so simple mistake. As one of their's singer name is SooYoung (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sooyoung)

The word "moan" is not as overused or misused, as the word "abuse" (especially when referring to "cop abuse").

Oh yes it is. Word moan is much more used then abuse, as it is an outcome of the word abuse.
I do not mind it being overused.People who don't know what this term means, they misuse it.

As one of their's singer name is SooYoung (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sooyoung)

It's a common name for Chinese people.  :)

I've become quite a Korean pop fan in recent weeks since being introduced to it by Hong Kong star Chaska.

Whilst I have your attention, I'm obliged to post another video:

If you check on the community, and not just this one but any community in general, a single term that is proposed will be used, over-used and watered down until the original meaning is lost.
This happens with words, terms, rules and just about anything.

Moaners was originally used for those members of the community who try to constantly portray things as negative, while still wanting to be attached to the community. If you see it in that light, the current use is still pretty close to the origins.
Moaning is the practice of declaring the current rules, scripts and state of the community as inferior, while not contributing positive solutions that are valid and feasibly. It is something usually seen in politics.

And we're all too familiar with that one.

 You are absolutely correct.
Your avatar really represents how you must be feeling in general.
It's not meant to be a sad face, it's meant to be a -.- face.
And Jesus Christ, you've tainted my metal mind with that music. Excuse me while I go grab some Cannibal Corpse to flush my mind of this... UGGGH

I lol'd. Good one, Gandalf.

There are a ton of K-Pop fans here in the philippines. Ahahaha xD

On the other half of the topic, the word moan is only becoming overused simply because many people are moaning.

Since being introduced to SNSD by Chaska, I've been listening to their music 24/7.

Driving down the road, with my windows fully open at 6am blasting this music from my car!

I would like to say, that a simple complain is not yet a moan. Let me give you an example. A female worker in the office is feeling, that most of her male colleagues are sexually harassing her. She goes to talk to her boss. "Boss, I would like to file a complain about sexual harassment in this company".
Now, do you really think, that in this kind of situation her boss would simply reply to her: "Your moaning has been heard and is being looked at"?

A solution to the "m" word problem could be implemented just like in the ARPD scripts were. What we could do when someone uses it is just go ahead and replace it with another word that is less offensive and not yet bastardized to the level when people start creating forum threads (and when they do, simply replace it with another word again). Along with that, other words should be censored too, to avoid misunderstandings and further misappropriations of the vocabulary. Back on the topic: please excuse me while I join Leon in metal marathon to remove the residues of your "brighter side of life" from my ears and brain.

please delete the post if its too much to handle... it will be VERY VERY dissapointing if the topic is locked due to off topic chatting.

believe it or not this topic is pretty important. Players AND admins need to be on the same page about what moaning is, otherwise people will break rules unknowingly by maybe [as what he thinks] questioning something, when the admin sees it as moan.
