The Almighty Veterans (=AV=) clan originated following the merging of the two clans 'Almighty Kings' (=AK=) and 'The Veterans' (=TV=) hence the name.
At the Third January 2007, After a 3 day long discussion discussion between Janek, the leader of =AK= and Grant and Dave, the leaders of =TV=, they decided to merge together and create the clan =AV= which did stand for Almighty Veterans at that time.
On June 14th 2007 we received permission from the leaders of Argonath to change the name to 'Argonath Veterans' the only clan to do so. For 24 hours AV members had a vote and the results concluded in favour of the new name.
On June 15th 2007 the clan's name officially changed to 'Argonath Veterans'.
The Argonath Veterans clan was the first clan in Argonath to hold the title of "Official" other than the main clan of Argonath RPG - the RockStars Clan.
On July 28, 2010, The Argonath Veterans Clan did go through a remake to ensure the clan stability and survival.

- Know and abide by all rules of Argonath RPG servers.
- Respect the clan, it's members and follow the clan leaders' decisions.
- Play for fun and friendship, not for achievements (admin status, in-game wealth).
- Be friendly and maintain the clan's good reputation.
- Do not force others to play by your own, unofficial rules.
- Be creative while role playing. Attempt to positively surprise all participating players.
- Any form of cheating is strictly forbidden. Cheaters will get kicked from the clan instantly.
- High inactivity can get you removed from the clan. If you come back, please notify the leaders or member managers.
- The Argonath Veterans clan operates on a singular clan membership rule. That means you cannot join (nor apply for) another clan or tagged RP group on any Argonath RPG servers if you wish to be an =AV= member.
- You have to be active on our forums. "Passive" members, who think that being in a clan is equal to wearing the clan TAG only, will be removed from the clan without warning.

If you want to join the Argonath Veterans clan, please post your application on our clan forum (http://www.av-clan.com/f0rum/). Remember to check our requirements before applying:
Before you join:
- You must know why do you want to join the Argonath Veterans clan.
- You must know what to expect from the clan, and what will the clan expect from you.
- You must play with our members - we don't accept strangers.
- You have to be registered on the Argonath RPG forum.
Time played:
- You must play regularly on Argonath RPG servers for at least
two six months.
- If you have returned after a long inactivity period, your time is counted from the date you have returned - not from the date of registration on server/forums.
Experience:
- You must know and follow Argonath RPG server rules. Remember that on Argonath RPG there is no OOC/IC context and no power-/meta- gaming. These terms do not exist. We disencourage our members to use it.
- You must be able to help new players in discovering what's role play and how do we play on Argonath RPG. In other words, you must be an example for new players.
- You must control your anger. If you're friendly, that should be no problem. But if you lose your temper fast, get the habit of turning off your game instead of bursting out your anger on other players.
We do not tolerate rule-breakers in our clan. If there is an AV member rule-breaking, please take screenshots (if possible) and contact a leader in any possible form (ingame PM, forum PM, Messenger). After receiving a complaint, action will be taken.
