Title: Halloween in other cultures.
Post by: Legolas on November 02, 2006, 12:41:10 am: Hello folks. Why i made this topic? Well, Halloween. We know what this mean and i think it is mostly fun. Halloween in other cultures. I have no idea what subject is good. Point is about this day. Sorry guys for my language, (Greeg ore Crimson if i type somethin wrong pls. correct me :)).
Poland.
What we do in this day? It is another culture. We call this day "Day all saints". In this day we are traveling from our homes to cemetery ore graveyard. It is special day. We are putting firelight's, flowers on gravestone our dead people from our family's. We pray about their spirit. Also we visit gravestone of great people, mostly soldiers. In memory that they fight for our freedom. Actors, and other great people. But mostly we visit our family. Pray in church. We remember about "them". This is specific day, 360 degrees of Halloween. You never see somethin like this here. Well sometimes little kids try do this also, but this is not in our tradition, long tradition. My personal opinion, all these lights are beautiful at night :)
