Title: CLEO4/3
Post by: Biggo2 on November 01, 2010, 07:21:31 pm: Ok guys, I am getting -REALLY- sick and tired of trying to get CLEO mods onto my game. But I get the same thing over and over.

When I download Cleo4 or cleo3 automatic installer, the game does absolutly nothing, it doesn't work on SAMP, it just crashes, and in my GTA SA SP, it loads half way then crashes.

I've tried almost everything, i.e downgrading.

Any help/suggestions? And yeah, Don't start a discussion about "Oh, make sure not to use this mod! It gives advantages" - I know what mod is allowed and what is not, so bugger off.

I'd really be thankful if someone here helped me out. I'm also trying to make a small machinima/movie, so I'll need the cleo working.

Error message is: "Can not load plugin CLEO.asi"

Even tried all the CLEO 4 / 3 versions... reinstalled GTA SA... still not working, I'm using Windows XP, and before re-installing Windows, it worked!

I was trying all kind of shit to get it to work but nothing worked.... TILL I found a proper gta_sa.exe file that was compatible with CLEO. After I replaced the original one everything worked as fine as wine. Go look after a CLEO-compatibleish gta_sa.exe

Can you send me one too mate?

Or is there some way to adjust the cleo.asi file, because I have deduced that it is this that causes it.

Been there done that. And what's the Exe.? A file?

also includes the emergency light mod (F12-ingame)

and for the auto installer, if it asks for a "GTA Path", then direct it to Program Files > Rockstar Games > GTA San Andreas

the file i uploaded is the core CLEO, plus the emergency light mod

i understand English perfectly well. the file i uploaded is CLEO3 AND ELM. ELM was originally a CLEO 3 mod.

CLEO 4 is built off CLEO 3. as is 3 off 2, and 2 off 1.
