Dude, I LOVE the pipeline pieces they showed!!! I need to try to find those pieces in a map editor and experiment with them! I'm hoping that they can block water when placed underwater. That would be so cool, an underwater tunnel from the GGB (Golden Gate Bridge) in SF to one of the LS Storm drain endings! <-- My thing to experiment on.

Hmm david i was thinking about the fire particles

and well about the fires, there is one condition...

The fires will either have to be detectable or fully controllable so that they can be extinguished properly. So, either the script can detect when a player has actually extinguished the fire or we can just do something like the current system which uses mathematics instead, but that's only possible if we can make sure that the fire can be somehow "locked" or something so that it can't be extinguished without the correct conditions, or maybe if there isn't anything like that the fire can just be added over and over to the same spot, unless it spreads? I don't know yet, we'll have to wait and see right?

Well, I expected some different things...
But since its what it is - its nice...

The one thing only (and that is not a sa:mp fault) - this features will not last long with amusements... You are now "Wow", later you will not even remember this features...

It's clearly not a surprise that you're not happy. No offence man, but look at your own posts: roughly 90% are negative.. I've listened to a very good audiobook which, IMO, everyone living in Eastern Europe should read, especially the Baltic countries. It's called "The Power of Positive Thinking", it'll only take like 30 minutes..

You are free to have your one opinion, but don't force everyone else to adhere to it by saying phrases like "who gives a shit"..


As iDavid pointed out, I love the release. This means that we will be able to reintroduce custom license plates for car owners.

Yeah and as you can see that did not make MTA:SA more attractive... Though you can rebuild the whole server to make unique, can add your own objects and that does not need all players download a special hack to that... Nobody goes "WOW! Amazing!"

as about number plates - we had it on server long time ago, as sa:mp tried this feature...
I do not remember what made them to stop it, but I can tell from experience: nobody even noticed it or was interested in...

I was talking not about the command usage but about seeing number plates...

And Dutchy it was not fully desync... It was not stable sync... Sometimes its desync, sometimes not... But nobody ever was interested in reading others number plates anyways... So its "Wow!" when you see screenshots with close view... On server you guys will not care...  :)

The SA:MP team removed number plates because of bugs, number plates completely stopped working in 0.2X I think.. Since this time they will support coloured number plates, hopefully they will be used by players more now..

No, Custom plates could be a good tool for RP, I've seen when Im in the states that goverment cars have "GOV

As for the particles, that could be intergreated into the fireman script, and the more controls for vehicles will make owning a car that one bit better.

I remember back in early-mid 2008 I could use the number plates fine, you just had to respawn your car... and conveniently my Premier spawned at Auto Bahn on the strip. :D Back in the times LV would be active on Sundays due to the DD and everyone would go to Jcs' Visage after it...damn good times

I once stole the car of a guy I wanted dead, changed his car plate and put it on the same place I stole it from, the guy noticed so ran into hidding.
It was awesome :)
