Title: PC Startup failure

When I start my PC, it just runs smoothly.. Untill I get to the login screen. Then it says it doesnt have a signal and the monitor just shuts down. Can anyone help me with it? :help:

If that does not work, remove the graphics card, turn the PC on, turn it off.

Then try re-inserting the graphics card and try again.

Post by: ROFLCopter on November 12, 2010, 03:39:02 pm: Check the connection cables. If you have some spares use one of them, if the spare works then it is obviously the cable. If a new cable doesn't help then try to plug the moniter on another computer to see it has the same problemo.

But he said he sees the Windows XP start up screen, his resolution has obviously changed.

Try booting into safe mode and see if it works, then change the resolution from there

Well.. I didn't change my resolution but I'll change it in save mode.

Will try that, also.. I will post if it worked/didn't work.

Haha no.. It's my original Monitor.
