Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is slated to be released in 2011. It will be the eighth entry in the Call of Duty franchise. It has been hampered with legal trouble between publisher Activision and the former co-executives of developer Infinity Ward, delaying pre-production, although Infinity Ward has been trying to hire new employees to work on Modern Warfare 3.
So what do you guys think the game is going to be about?

Near 2011... we're in 2010 now... think about it.. if there was any MW3 comming out we would knew about it and you got it from Wikipedia.

It would be a total disaster and a failure. What Activision do wrong is they want new games and more on their list.. Take a look on Black Ops, they released it because the fans wanted it too bad, it's not even finished yet.. If there will be yet another game in '11 I hope they use their time and don't fuck it up. Modern Warfare has a name nobody want to ruin, ATLEAST not Activision...
I hope we get a good break from a new game now, even though I like Infinity Ward's games alot better.
And yes, it's probably fake, or IW/TY/Activision has a bad assigned worker that leaks 'secret' info.

Well, think about 2011. It's only a month till 2011. Probably fake, but if not, I hope inifinity ward makes it. I like MW2 better than black ops.

The fact that Modern Warfare 2 raked in obscene amounts of money basically made a third entry in the franchise a forgone conclusion, but it turns out Activision Blizzard's counter-lawsuit against fired Infinity Ward heads Jason West and Vince Zampella also made it official: Modern Warfare 3 is already in development. The bad news for gamers is the legal dispute, according to Activision, is delaying the project's pre-production.
In their counter-suit, Activision claims that West and Zampella (before they were fired) were intentionally delaying the pre-production of Modern Warfare 3 in order to use it as "leverage in their negotiations with Activision" (via Kotaku). Activision also says in the case that the duo's alleged secret meetings with their "closest competitor" (almost certainly Electronic Arts) contributed to the delays, and that "as a direct and proximate result of this breach of the covenant of good faith and fair dealing, Activision has been forced to commit additional resources to Modern Warfare 3."
In a statement released shortly after the counter-suit was made public, Robert Schwartz, West and Zampella's attorney, called Activision's allegations "false and outrageous."
As for Modern Warfare 3, we all know Activision intends to release a new Call of Duty every year, with this year's version rumored to be set during the Vietnam War. That would likely put Activision's desired release date for Modern Warfare 3 in 2011, assuming whatever current delays that may or may not be taking place don't push it off too much.

I bought Black Ops 11th of November, the exact same date as Modern Warfare 2 was released back in 2009. If there will be any game in '11, they better do it well..
And Wash, that's not bullshit. The game was half done by the release..

Half done? Are you serious? I don't understand fully what the hell you could mean by half done seen as technically the game would not work at all if it was half done. The release date of Black Ops was predetermined a LONG time ago, before people even started wanting the game.
There are a some bugs but by no means does that suggest they only developed half of the game. When RS4 was released, there were a shitload of bugs, does that mean it was half done? Treyarch conducted a beta which helped them remove most of the bugs but obviously when you are producing such a huge game (biggest game of 2010) there are bound to be bugs. The bugs that exist are incredibly minute in comparison to the game being "half done". Don't insult the developers of Black Ops by saying their game was half done when they've spent thousands upon thousands of hours developing it.
I think you are the only person in the world who genuinely believes the game is "half done".

I haven't played Black Ops, but I know Treyarch made it not IW.
IW is money hungry, they fucking charge you bullshit ass money for the map packs, which should be free. They also shat on the PC versions of the games, not allowing custom maps, or hosted servers.

Plane always had it.. helicopter well he dropped Price & Soap off and Price told him it was a one way flight and don't bother picking them up.
So my guess is he stole a chopper from Shadow Company (Shepards Men).
Continuing the MW2 storyline would be logical as it wasen't finished even better IW could ahve released DLC for MW2 instead of over-priced map packs that were garbage anyway.

Well if you remember,Captain.Price survives " World war 2 " ( He appears in previous call of duty series ) maybe he got old contacts ?
Just saying.Oh and they might create some " Story " to re-vive Ghost and Roach just like they did with Captain.Price back at Call of duty 1 when you had to go on a German ship and plant explosives, he got shot and you had to leave him behind on the ship, but they said that ( one aimed for his face but his amazing indestructible mustache protected him, causing the bullet to disintegrate. He played dead for a while, while Evans(Your character back in COD) did all the work. After words, he got up and pretended to look for Evans as a German soldier, and all the German soldiers were still fooled because he was still wearing German clothing. )
Oh and just wondering, was Gaz, Ghost? Since they both got the same voice.

probably, BUT Ghost and Roach where burned, so i do not think they will come back, you could see clearly that Ghost where shot in the front..
And when Price ''died'' on the ship, he migth have managed get out from the wreck before it all went to the bottom of the sea.

Oh and did ya'll forget, Cpt. MacMillan back in Call of duty 4 he and Price were close partners! He did retire because of his broken leg, but he might of been also in contact with them and helping them out from somewhere.

Nono, the whole game should be like the airport mission in MW2 (on easy). Cuz' you get to shoot civilians without failing tha' mission (GTA, anyone?), y'feel me? Cuz' like, terrorists are bad M'kay?
Seriously tough, I've played that mission over a hundred times, since it's the closest I can get to GTA-ish gameplay in a CoD game.

Call of Duty: Future Warfare, Advanced Warfare, Secret Warfare and Space Warfare have all had internet domains registered by the publisher, which is a not-so-subtle hint as to the direction the series is looking to head.
Can be any of thoose. and Future, Advanced and Secret can be something realistic, not space like.

Well actually since Treyarch made Black ops and Infinity Ward makes the Modern Warfare series Infinity Ward started working on MW3 as soon as they released MW2, So strictly speaking theyve had 2 years not 1.

A source within the industry who has previously leaked other information when I was writing for Xboxic (leaks include confirming Black Op's March 2010, Naming Kinect before E3 May 2010, First Gears 3 Images April 2010, amongst others) has informed me that an upcoming Call of Duty title from Infinity Ward will not be created on an all new game engine, and will not be released this year under the title of Modern Warfare 3!
It has been alleged that Infinity Ward are creating a game that will focus on the character Ghost who first appeared in Modern Warfare 2, this game will centre around the events leading up to the war in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare as a prequel, and then further reveal how Ghost first became a member of Task Force 141 based on the comic book stories written by David Lapham. In various parts of the game that will focus on the life of Ghost - players will revisit locations from both Call of Duty 4 and Modern Warfare 2, but this time from a different viewpoint.
Although entirely a rumour - the game is meant to be in development on the Modern Warfare 2 engine. Robert Bowling (Infinity Ward's Community Manager) was contacted, but has neither confirmed or denied the rumours.
When an official announcement from both Activision and Infinity Ward is made regarding the Call of Duty title currently in development - we'll be sure to post it.

The devs of BO did a crap job with this COD, World at war their WW2 shooter was much better then the BO/BS trash lol.
On the subject on MW3, all I can say is I hope its as good or better then MW2 cause MW2 is still one of the funnest FPS shooters out there..I went MONTHS without playing like 8 in fact, came back and played on the PS3 and owned..but my system is the 360 and just played a local match with some kids...funny shit haha.
