Does anybody know? I replaced my gta3.img in my models folder with gta3.img from the Argonath forums. But the modded skins and stuff are still in game.

Re install the game. And make sure you did it properly..

My SA is at my friend :P

Then go get it?

Or just read the topic? I think all you need to know is in there :D
I recommend to install mods with SAMI (San Andreas Mod Installer ) So you'll be able yo easily press uninstall.

If you know the exact files of the mods, fully delete them.
If not the simplest way would be to uninstall/fully delete the game (+ interconnected files that may have an effect) and install it fresh onto your computer.

Hi MikeJohnson,
Just because you have replaced your gta3.img does not mean you will remove every mod, depending on what mods you have used, as they may rely on other parts of the install.
The Answer:
I personally would uninstall everything to do with GTA SA (sad but true) this also includes everything that you have contained inside your Documents folder, as it is (under your Rockstar saved games). After you have uninstalled everything so there is no trace. I suggest checking the install folder manually (C:/program files. . . . ) and making sure there are NO files in that folder! its possible that even after the install if you have any third party mods you put in that the Rockstar installer Won't Remove Them!
I normally remove the whole folder then restart.
Once this is done you can begin reinstalling and as soon as that is done check whether or not the mods are there!
Good luck with you venture.
Happy Gaming!

Paide, that's a form of post hunting. There was no need for you to quote my post for no apparent reason. If the reason is already said, don't quote it unless it's forgoten.

Thanks guys.. I also replaced the gta3.img and used Rebuild Archive. It removed the mods aswell.
