It's time I make my departure. I leave for Policy Academy on January 4th, 2010, never to be seen again until June 6th, 2010, and this situation today combined with the past was the reason behind my decision.
It's apparent to me that I will never escape this SASD issue... I never had any part to do with the CBFasi attack. The guy is really cool in my mind, and I hope only the best for him and the bad news. I honestly consider him a friend. With that being said;
I had stepped down from SASD to give Erick leadership, and ease him into the change. I had actually stepped out and was signed off to leave. When they made the change to the new server, I stepped up to help Erick move to the new server and get everything because that's what I do best - organizing and construction. Once that had happened, I stepped down to Captain, just to enjoy the benefits of high ranking and role play for a little bit, so I could feel like my 2 years of hard work paid off. I then stepped down entirely two weeks ago, and took on the "Administrator" title. My only role is to run the utilities of SASD, I have no rank or leadership.
Apparently, no one understands the fact that I stepped down, had nothing to do with the attack on CBF, and only remain as a FORUM and WEBSITE ADMINISTRATOR. I did not play on Argonath for a few weeks because I had a lot going on in my personal life, including a dying grandfather, college, and my police explorers, and on top of that I felt the need to continue helping SASD so that the group I wasted 2 years of my life on didn't shatter.
I am not here to make you believe my story - Those who don't, never will. I am explaining why I have done everything that I have done, whether it's an excuse or not.
Because of this, I am unable to play on the server without being harassed or threatened. People accuse me of lying to keep my admin - that's not the case. I kept my admin because I was one of the admins who never put aside his job of being an administrator just for some role play or anything. I kept my admin because I was the ONE PERSON who actually handled the SASD issued when they came up, instead of just playing around and shooting CBFasi. I kept my admin because I know how to talk to people, and work things out instead of cry and moan. I kept my admin because I'm a mature adult who knows when he's wrong or right.
With that being said. I apologize for everything I have done wrong, but I do not apologize once second for anything I have done regarding SASD, ARPD, or any related matter... I am a successful leader, creating a whole community out of nothing. I had placed in several policies that were strictly followed, and created an environment for friendship. I have turned several people who didn't think about going into law enforcement in real life into police explorers or more. The actions of a single member swaying the minds of a couple others does not forge the whole community - everyone should know this. We didn't quit Argonath because Staghle ban evaded and made the server look bad, did we?
It's time I make my departure, and I just wanted to say that I appreciate all the good times I had, and could share with you guys.
Gandalf, Aragorn - You have built an amazing community, and I model my leadership off of this. Thank you for the great group.
Gimli - Thank you for the opportunity of being an administrator. It's the best thing I've ever done in any game I've ever played.
Pancher - You were an awesome chief, hope that everything works itself out for you.
CBFasi - You are an amazing leader, and you are extremely wise in just about everything.
Vince - We had our issues, but you and I f**king around in the admin world was some of the funnest times I've had.
Everyone - You're the reason I was here in the first place. The socialization and being your administrator kept me coming back time and time again.
For those of you who have a personal vendetta against me - Gandalf knew I was on another server, and my internet HAS been out since Thursday as I said earlier in the server. Before that internet issue, I was on Argonath numerous times as an administrator. The ONE hour I was on the other server on Saturday, I had a ping of 800-3000 because of this non-sense with my internet company. And as for you saying that I said I had left SASD, I said I left, and that was not a lie. I had rejoined to help move to the new server, and then the issue with CBFasi happened. When that happened, I HAD TOLD CBFASI AND EVERYONE ELSE that I was in SASD, but I was not a leader, which was also true. I was simply in charge of the patrol division until they were stable in the server, and then I would drop again. The offenders that had violated the server and CBFasi were ABOVE ME IN RANK. I could do nothing. I dropped to "Administrator" two weeks ago, and all I do is own and manager the forums and the website, I have nothing to do with leadership or what happened with CBFasi. So now that you know the truth in this, I hope you don't run other people out of the server based on your blindness.
[Edit]: Actually. If you guys asked CBFasi yourselves, I gaurantee he would tell you exactly what he told me the night the SASD issues happened. I remained an administrator because I was a good administrator, and because he knew I had nothing to do with the attack. I was not banned because of that. If you notice, there's multiple ex-SASD members still here in Argonath as well. Thanks for your time, I don't know why I was the one to get shot.

It's a real shame to see you go. I for one know that you are a good leader, and were never biased toward any members of the community, you treated with respect, and you never ever disrespected anyone behind their back. I for one thank you for your dedication to this community as a person.

To avoid any issues and to ensure this situation goes no further, this will be my last post and the first post will not be edited. You guys rule, this server was and still is my favorite. I hope it goes far.

It takes great courage to come to SA:MP General in light of the lunatics who patrol here day and night.
Despite me not knowing the background to the issues you and others faced. I'm greatly saddened by your choice to leave Argonath where you have contributed significantly. If there is any doubt in your mind about your decision, discuss and resolve it with the others. I'm privileged to have been able to play alongside you and wish you the very best of luck in the future if no resolve is met.
I hope to see you back hunting fat ballas like me soon. :D

You were a really good admin just as you stated above, you had nothing against anyone or any groups, I know plenty of admins who hate a group and ban a player in that group for basically nothing just because they don't want them to play on the server anymore.

Best of luck to you in the academy Rory, your a great guy and mentor. Although we didn't get to know eachother very much, we still had some good times. You organized a very successful police group, and your administrative work was exceptional. You truely are one of the reasons im pushing to join the Explorers program here in Las Vegas, and fight side by side with my cousin. Stay safe and please do not become a stranger.
