Title: The Truth is Out There // Uncovered GTA:SA Beta Missions
Post by: JayL on November 28, 2010, 07:23:23 am
Probably this is in the wrong board (first time I post this kind of topic and well)... Move it if it's the case. :P

Anyway I was browsing around and I randomly came across this video. Looks like this guy got the pieces together and managed to put the unused mission from GTA:SA called The Truth Is Out There. Don't really know if it's modding - well atleast he seems to have got the original sound files!

He's even got more of these - here's a less funnier one called Roadside Assistance. Well there are like 5 of these uncovered missions. Just check his channel and search in his posted videos list.

Good find.

I wonder if that political whistle blower site had anything to do with this information being published XD.

Most likely mods. Read one of his comments on a video; ''

@StolpeThomas Dude... it works only for GTASA Version 1.00 / 1.01.

Version 2.00 / 3.00 is not modable. good that there is a GTASA Downgrader ''

Well smart guy, of course you need mods to get these missions added to the game.

Good find, bro.

JayL (and everybody else I'm assuming) doesn't know if the mission is REAL, made by R* themselves and then removed or made by somebody else and added in the game; that's what he means with modded or not. In both cases, you'd need a modified copy of the game to play them, and that's obvious.

Video one

1:15 - 4:02
4:23 - 8:00

2 of the greatest songs <3

Anyways,i think this IS modded,because

1)Weapon HUD and Weapons themselves ( shotgun and pistol ) are modded.
Idiotic question but,if its really unpublished beta mission
2)How was he able to access to these missions and record it?

I think its the same story as with bigfoot who  obviously was a mission in the first version of GTA San Andreas, published on Earth (http://encyclopediadramatica.com/No)

Yeah,whatever

The guy had a lot of mods including the hidden mission mod. It's a mod that makes it possible to play missions that were not included in the final released game. They are real missions but they weren't added because they had better shit to do.

Things to do in san andreas
http://www.deezire.net/forums/downloa... (http://www.deezire.net/forums/downloa...)
How to install: ((Backup your GTASA first!!!!!!!)
1: You need a clean installation of GTA San Andreas WITHOUT any mods!!!
2: You need GTASA version 1.00!!!
3: Rename the folder: ''GTA San Andreas User Files'' to: ''GTA San Andreas User Files Backup'' so... if you want to play the orginal GTASA again, just rename it back...
4: Install the mod (double click on the 30mb big ''install''!!!)
5: Wait 30minutes or a hour... DONT worry! It need to take that much! There are about 160mb in 30mb compressed! What did you expected???
6: Run your GTA San Andreas and have fun!
Thats all! Thanks for reading it! And dont say comments like these:
''oh... no... my gtasa userfiles are deleted...go to hell!''
or other like these...nvm THX for watching and subscribing!

I didn't even bother finishing the game.

No point in playing this particular mission, but still cool.
