Title: ENB SAMP Error.
Post by: Smith on November 28, 2010, 05:01:46 pm
Today I downloaded and installed ENB. I paste every file in the good folder where it belongs. But when I want to start GTA SA SA:MP It gives me this error :

I re-installed ENB multiple times and still it's not working. Also when I remove the d3d9.dll file from the GTA SA Folder the error is gone. But when I put it in there again it gives this error again. But without this file I can't play with the ENB. I hope there's someone who can help me with a good ENB Knowledge.

Try running SA-MP As administrator :)

Well I don't know if that's possible with Windows XP. So far I heard it's only possible with vista or windows 7.
Otherwise can you may explain how I can do it ?

That box thing is called a "crash".
It all depends on how well your graphics are, ENB requires A LOT of good graphics.
And yeah it's possible with Windows XP, I have it myself. Just right click on the folder > Run as > As choose administrator

I tried it and it works!
But If I do SHIFT + F12 it gives me a error.
Probally my graphic card can't handle it.

I know this problem...
Its d3d9.dll....
Ever herd of Mod Sobeit??? That hackprogrma???
Now Samp Thougth there smart and if they detect a ''d3d9.dll'' file Samp wont run,
But ENB Series also used That File....
(Tip) Unstall samp and install mta sa, Its a lot better and you never get a Gayerror like this
You Can't fix this shit,  :D

Greetings, J_wet

Hmm no thanks , I don't like ''hack'' programs or something.
And while the Argonath server is on SAMP And not MTA:SA No thanks.
And the d3d9.dll is working. Only when I put my ENB ON InGame. It crashes me.

We haven't solved it, why should it be locked? What's your PC specs - CPU, Ram, GPU, OS etc.

The default ENB settings are very high. Go to your San andreas folder, open the enb.ini file in notepad.

Copy and paste these settings into that, and save it. Go ingame, and try starting ENB. These are the lowest settings I've been able to find so far.

If you just got like 2 files (d3d9.dll  and enbseries.ini) , you should try to use my settings. If it crashes even after using my settings , it must be a problem with your computer or conflict with 2 graphical mods (If you have more graphical mods installed).

I got no other graphic things for GTA SA installed..
And I need the 0.075c Test 2? Or another one? Currently I tried it with that I will try it soon with the 0.075s Version
It still crashes me. It crashes me when I want to activate it.
Then it takes my GTA SA window down and I get this error:

Did you have to replace VorbisFile and VorbisHooked? If yes , get new ones.

Don't know where to get them. But some ENB settings include these two files.
